El Timon is a traditional nautical themed restaurant with great seafood dishes. Highlights include the prawns, the calamares a la plancha (grilled squid stuffed with jamon and garlic) and other grilled fish. It is also good value. One of the waiters does speak some English and they also had an English menu available.
Encontramos el sitio por casualidad y fué toda una sorpresa!Cenita tranquila entre amigos, buen ambiente y trato agradable. IncreÃbles las melosas de cabrales y la pechuga rellena, lo recomiendo!

This restaurant is a local favourite - and for good reason! The food is traditional Spanish tapas and raciones. The gambas rebozadas (saffron battered prawns) are one of their signature dishes, but their calamares, rabo del toro (ox tail) and solomillo en roquefort (pork in roquefort sauce) are also absolutely delicious. The menu is also extremely good value. As a local favourite, on Friday and Saturday nights the restaurant is packed so I'd recommend arriving around 9pm (relatively early for Spaniards) to ensure you get a table. The service can be quite slow at peak times but it's worth the wait.Don't think the staff speak much English but they do have an English version of the menu available.
Una terraza que impresiona por la cantidad de terreno que acapara y la mucha persona que la disfruta , con una gran carta para todos los gustos, hay que recalcar lo bien organizados que están

As mentioned this restaurant/bar is very friendly with locals. Service is excellent and great choice of good value food. This establishment is not in a town or village but is located along a main road and is always busy. Expect that more so at weekends and fiestas. Portions of food are more than adequate. There are plenty of parking places either side of the road. For our party we had 4 good plates of food (Calamare, Merluza, beef steak with pork x 2, all with chips) 4 pints of beer and 2 soft drinks, came to 48 euros. All satisfied and would definitely recommend and return.

We were here in Easter week and it offers an awesome view of each brotherhood. It's a crowded place so, I recommend to book a table if you want to eat here. I strongly recommend to taste their fried fish. It's a bit expensive but it's recommended in many food guides.

Meson la Casilla offers excellent traditional Spanish food. A particular standout dish is their patatas a lo pobre, but their croquetas, pulpo a la gallega (octopus) and gambas are also highly recommended. The food along with the house rioja is very good value. The restaurant is really nicely decorated and looks very traditional which matches the food. It is very popular with locals and busy on the weekend.

Very welcoming owner and excellent Galician cuisine a short walk from the former station and the via verde/camino mozarabe de santiago. Menu del Dia at â¬11,80 which was good but I was having dinner elsewhere so went a la carte for lunch. There is a wide range of Galician dishes at very fair but not cheap prices. I had a stunning bacalao a la peregrina with tomatoes, red pepper and a poached egg. Delicious. Galician wines are available by the glass at fair prices. Service efficient and friendly. Decor focussed on Galicia and the Camino de Santiago. Outside terrace, which my being there in December was not an option! On seeing the scallop shell on my pilgrim rucksack the owner gave me a scallop shell from his own collection!
