Find out what Spanish restaurants to try in Bristol. Bristol is a quirky British city with beautiful hilly vistas and plenty of historic sights to explore. Anyone interested in ships will have a blast aboard Brunel’s SS Great Britain, the world’s first great oceanliner, and the Matthew, a replica of the ship upon which John Cabot sailed to America in the 15th century. The graceful Clifton Suspension Bridge is another must-see.

Just like its namesake, Paco Tapas offers a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. With an influence from AndalucÃa, Paco's dishes are colourfully tasty and stay true to authentic Spanish cuisine.
Great atmosphere and brilliant service, we went for late lunch and could easily have stayed on until dinner. Food is served from the open kitchen and every dish was carefully designed and presented. We had the boquerones and the Spanish tortilla to start, followed by sole and lamb stew, with vegetable dishes that included roasted cauliflower with chicken skin and aged squash. We can honestly say this place was an exceptional find and in our opinion well deserves its Michelin star. We would only say that some of the dishes were perhaps a little too salty for our taste (the sole, and the olive oil soaked bread) and this is the only reason for our four rather than five star rating. Contrary to some reviews we did not find the pricing high for the quality of food and in fact found it very much to the contrary. Overall we loved this place and for all the best reasons we are still talking about it !
