I invited a relative (who has lived in Karlsruhe about 40 years) to eat here. He had no idea what tapas were but was willing to try. Now he keeps talking about bringing his wife here ;-)The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice (although it can get loud if a large group is sitting right next to you) and service is extremely attentive and helpful. The food is very yummy with effort put into achieving that typical Spanish taste explosion (it doesn't beat actually eating in Spain, but full marks for trying). When it came to paying the bill, I was pleasantly surprised. Very good food & drink for a very decent price.I can't wait to be back in Karlsruhe to come here again ;-)

This a nice mixed cuisine restaurant in a quiet part of town. It has a medium sized interior with few outside tables.The food includes Asian, Greek, Italian and German so much choice of cuisine though menu is small.We had a Greek salad which was good with large feta chunks. The white fish of the day was nicely grilled. The turkey fillets was a large dish with lots of salads and easy too share.A good comfort place. Enjoyed it. Attentive service too.

Wine: Con: Only spanish wine available.No opportunity to taste anything local.Pro: The wine selection is vast. Enough options to choose from. Tapas: Wide selection of cold and warm tapas. Mostly very good.Eliminate either pasta or potatoes as an option to increase avg high value added. Suggestion for offering:For enthusiasts, provide the opportunity to taste 1 typically Baden-origin, locally praised dry red, & 1 white for peacocking. (under the category:"housewine") Suggestion for service and speed:None. Staff is helpful, quick, and pretty knowledgable.Suggestion for layout:Downstairs is quite small. Not suitable for groups over 10 people. Maybe larger area upstairs?

Walked around after visiting the thermal baths and stumbled across this amazing place! Great Illy coffee and very pretty decor. Just the place for international friends to relax and have a drink (they have alcohol too if you and your friends have a toss up on whether you want coffee or cocktails). Shout out to Chris for being such a wonderful barista/bartender!Ps - if you like scenic views, the old castle and new castle hike is a must do! :)Hello OoooglyFoogly,thanx for your nice review and as i can guess you liked the hike to the castles...Enjoy your stay and hope to see you and your friends again.
