Find out what Spanish restaurants to try in Barcelona. Nestled between the Mediterranean coast and the colossal Montserrat, Barcelona's deep historical roots stretch through the ruins dotting the city and the local culture and Catalan language. You'll feel you're traveling through time, whether you're watching popular events such as the colles castelleres (human pyramids) and sardanes dances, or walking narrow, maze-like streets and broader boulevards. Stroll from the Gothic Quarter through Passeig de Gracia, where Roman ruins, Gothic cathedrals, and remnants of the Spanish Golden Age and the Civil War stand side by side with surreal and modernist structures by Gaudí and Domènech i Montaner. Stop at any of the numerous restaurant terraces and enjoy traditional calçots and botifarra sausages, flavor-packed tapas, and fresh seafood. At day's end, treat yourself to a refreshing cocktail in one of the many Chirringuitos (beach bars) along the golden beaches embracing the sea.

Gastronomic restaurant whose philosophy is based on creativity, originality and seasonal product.
Really friendly service and welcome. The dining room is for my taste too minimalist. The food offer well presented but missing something in taste. Each plate was missing the âpersonalityâ of its main ingredient.

Jobs was recommended to us by Jason from Rao restaurant after we had enjoyed a great meal there. We were equally impressed by Jobs. The sharing plates have beautiful fresh flavours served in an elegant setting with informative service. An excellent example of Barcelona's contemporary food scene. Thanks a lot for visiting and for the review. It makes us so happy and proud to make our costumers happy.

New trendy restaurant and cocktails bar in the El Born area, just behind the Picasso museum with an outdoor terrace. From 10am till 4pm we serve Brunch and some tapas. Great egg Benedict, pancakes, avocado on toast, and a wide range of healthy food. From
This restaurant is in the plaza behind the Pecaso Museum. My wife was always on the lookout for a vegan restaurant. On Sunday morning we found Cremat 11 by chance. They had a brunch menu with a vegan skillet . They also had a waiting list, the manger (or possibly the owner) was very accommodating when we came back an hour later. The waitress said they were out of food but the manager told us to sit down, went into the kitchen and came back with good news for my wife, they had enough produce for one more vegan skillet. I had the carmel pancakes and bacon. The food was so good we came back on our last day in Barcelona ( we waited until it opened at 1000 a.m.) for one last breakfast. The price was medium but the food and service was superior. If you go, go early it Thank you so much for your great review, I am glad that we managed to satisfied both you and your wife. I am Cedric the owner that helped you getting our last Vegan Breakfast. We hope to see you again soon! Best, Cedric

Delicious food that was beautifully presented (not that it mattered but was a nice touch), friendly and accommodating staff, lovely drinks. They donât allow you to have tap water though the water is fine to drink but that wasnât enough to spoil the rest of the great experience here. So good we returned the next evening. Donât let the small menu put you off. Itâs just a small choice, cooked perfectly.

Very friendly, professional welcome and observant service during the whole evening. The interieur very stylish, but puristic and solid in purple, silver and black. As I have been on my own, I got a nice table next to the glas front of the kitchen. All staff was working very focused without beeing hectic and loud. My starter the St. James's scallops very nice, but not spectacular. No big deal or surprise with reference to filigree seasoning. The main course "suckling pork with crispy skin" was definitely one of the best pieces of pork I had in my life! Fantastic, awesome!Unfortunately I was not hungry enough to order the menu. Therefore I couldn't get an overview to assess the capabilities of the kitchen on a fair, more detailed base.

Tapas restaurant placed in Sant Antoni area of Barcelona. Restaurant with an open kitchen, high tables and terrace. *We don´t accept bookings, you just need to come and ask for a table at the entrance.
This small restaurant on an unassuming corner had the most amazing food. It had been recommended by a Barcelona local in Brisbane, Australia and certainly did not disappoint. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating of English speakers. The food was fresh and beautifully presented and was the best we found on our 9 week trip. So much so that we went back a second time.

Holidays from 14th of April until 4th of May. Catalan cuisine madre with organic and localy-grown products. We emphasise on the "Mar i Muntanya" (sea and mountain) concept by developing a haut-cuisine menu that is served in an informal and welcoming atmos
Went for lunch had to book ten days in advance which we were give a place at the bar.Starters were great especially the crowqetas and the organic tomatoes salad. The other dishes like the quails was too salty which the waiter agreed to.In general food was ok but the place was quite dirty especially the bar where you see cleaning liquids mixed with wine bottles and worst to see the bar man mixing old wine bottles into each other to serve to customers.I would not visit again and all the hype is not worth it.

Oliver was our host and recommended fantastic dish! Loved the experience, very different to the other restaurants as there are no menus. The food was excellent and the atmosphere of the place was also wonderful. We were lucky we like to eat early so there was not many queue when we arrived around 7pm, otherwise the wait can be long as the space is small. A must in Barcelona!!

We were two couples that dined here for dinner. The atmosphere was very pleasant & the seating quite comfortable. Unlike other nearby places, it did not have a loud bar atmosphere. We all ordered something different for dinner and everything was very good, made with fresh ingredients and served hot. We even attempted to return the next evening for dinner to try other dishes but it was fully booked. And the only reason we did not give this a 5* is because our waiter was grumpy & didn't appear to like 'tourists'.Dear MisssFit,Thank you very much for choosing CentOnze Restaurant and for taking the time to share your valuable opinion with us. We are delighted to read that you had such a great overall experience and that our quality and facilities met your expectations. However, I am disappointed to see your comments about our associates. Please rest assured this is not indicative of our usual high standards of service and we will be investigating this situation further. It is great to know that you enjoyed the atmosphere of CentOnze Restaurant. Despite being in the most vibrant street of the city, guests can enjoy a tranquil evening enjoying the view. We are also proud you liked all of your food choices. Our Chef Luis R. and his team combine local and international dishes basing his cuisine on slow food technique in order to provide a unique experience to our guests. As you noted, they source the fresh ingredients directly from La BoquerÃa Market, just a few steps from the hotel.Once again, thank you very much for choosing CentOnze restaurant and for sharing your feedback with us, we hope to welcome you back again very soon.Kind regards,CentOnze Management team
