Breakfast, lunchs, snacks every day and dinners Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Delicious and juicy spanish tortilla, roast of the day everyday, homemade food and cakes (carrot cake, Brownie, lemon meringue pie, pudding,...) just renovated
We stopped in because of the great TA reviews and they were right on the money. We had fish stew, chicken teriyaki, and the roasted vegetable salad. They were great values, large portions, and fresh well presented ingredients. If you've never tried the patron peppers, then this is a great opportunity to give them a try. The owner and her family go out of the way to make your dining experience wonderful.

While visiting family and friends in Barakaldo we decided to try out this restaurant. We were delighted by the excellent service and high quality of the food. We had chipirones, pulpo and mejillones and they were all very tasty and the portions were abundant. We had a nice bottle of wine which was suggested by the waiter. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. We were also advised that the owners have restaurants with the same name in Bilbao and Santurci.Estimated Theresa S, Thank you very much for your visit and for your comment. Much makes us happy to know that you are satisfied by our products and services. We hope that you return to see us in your next visit. A cordial greeting.

This restaurant has been many years in the town. Despite the number of customers declining since they opened, the quality remains the same. I believe that the decrease is due to the current economic situation and that it is not anymore a "new" restaurant. What I mean with this is that people are not telling anymore "let´s go and try it" as they have been there already. I have the feeling that they could increase the number of customers they get if they changed their menu, as they have mostly been offering the same meal options all the time they've been open. The fixed menu has 4 courses with a very competitive price. As starters, there are 2 salads or juice. The next course consist in 2 different soups or gazpacho.. While The main course is the third on the list, but trust me, you will be quite satisfied before having it.. To end, you will have quite large variety to choose the dessert. This time I chose a salad, gazpacho, veggie stuffed peppers with spicy sauce and corn custard (those are awesome...)It is one of the best rooms to enjoy a dinner in that I can think of.

Restaurante moderno y acogedor. Menú del dÃa a 12 euros y fines de semana menús con reserva. Especialistas en vermut preparado y rabas.
This probably isn't in any tourist guide yet as it's in a suburb of Bilbao, but easily accessible from the metro and easy to find as it's in the main square. I went with a group to celebrate a friend's birthday and I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food, the price and the service. I'm sure if we'd eaten that quality of innovative food anywhere in the centre of Bilbao it would have cost at least 3 times more. We had the tasting menu and the wonderful variety of dishes just kept coming and coming. Some surprising for their original mix of flavours, but all of them of exceptional quality. The staff were really friendly and efficient, giving explanations of all the dishes. I can't recommend it more highly as it was one of the best meals I've ever had and I'll be going back as soon as I can!

Visited this on the of chance of some decent food. We were not dissappointed. The selection of pinchos is very good and extremely tasty - all very reasonably priced.A large variety of meals are served at differing times of day, also great value and well prepared.A bustling and busy cafe contributes greatly to the friendly local atmosphere.Be prepared to use your schooldays Spanish - not a lot of English is spoken.

visited the restaurant on a Wednesday evening. I ordered Pimientos del paron, Croquetas Mixtas and, based on the review on TA, the famous Pulpo al carbon con salsa al ajo. Everything excellent, as well as the Albariño wine which was suggested by the waiter (extremely kind in suggesting also the dessert).final check of 45, not that cheap but TOTALLY worth for the dinner. surely go back with my partner when back to Bilbao for business

Es un restaurante pequeño, junto a los Juzgados y a 5 minutos del BEC (Bilbao exhibition centre). Cuenta con menus, carta y un reservado. It´s a small restaurant, near of court of Barakaldo and 5 minutes walking from BEC (Bilbao exhibition centre). It has
We were visiting the basketball woldcup in Bilbao at the expo center. Due to the crowds there was limited possibility to find good food but Sikera was a great catch. Sikera was good choise for both fathers and teenage sons. Local food, good service and affordable prices. Espesially good memories about Belota ham and nice sommelier Nerea.

We were looking for a nice place for lunch in walking distance of the Guggenheim Bilbao when we saw this restaurant. It has a very serene and comfortable atmosphere, very nice staff. We ordered an iberico platter, roasted pork and pork secreto with asparagus. Perfect to our taste. Didnât want to return for a second time only because there is so much more to try. But will revisit when in Bilbao next time. Thnx to the staff!

The Tamarises Izarra Restaurant is located on the 1st floor of the Tamarises building, and offers Basque cuisine in a bright and relaxed environment by the sea in Getxo.
What a marvelous restaurant! We visited Bilbao for a wedding which then held their reception at this really nice spot. Right on Bilbaoâs beach with gorgeous sunsets most nights, this restaurant excels in providing yummy, exquisite food. Over three days, we ate a late lunch and a dinner in the dining room, and then were treated to a 6-course feast at the wedding reception. Every meal, every item served was well prepared, presented nicely, and was wonderfully tasty. We are planning a cruise that will see us in Bilbao next spring and we WILL eat here again! If you have the option for a place to eat in the area surrounding Bilbao, choosing Tamarises Izarra will make you very happy!
