A group of friends and I had a terrific experience at Vulgar Restuarante. We came for dinner and sat outside with an incredible view of the sunset. Their hamburgers were very generously priced for how large the portions were (and delicious!) and we were all very impressed with the level of service provided by the restaurant, would definitely recommend stopping by!

I love Mexican food. When you try to locate Mexican food, well, it's almost a wish and a prayer here in Armenia. I have tried several pseudo Mexican places here in Armenia, and I am happy to report that the burrito that they serve is as close as you can come to here in Armenia. The place is nicely decorated and will enlighten your spirits to have a good time. I have been here twice. The first time they forgot to add meat to my tacos. However, I saw another person eating a huge burrito and made up my mind to try it when I returned. Sometimes, you have to let the restuarant grow. Well, I went back and ordered the huge burrito and it tasted like I was back in the states. The only thing missing was beans and Mexican rice. I also ordered a mango margarita not made very well. So, I ordered a Corona and you know you can't go wrong there. The place also has those huge margarita glasses and I am tempted to try it when I return and not by myself. The week days offered cheap lunch menu may mislead you, but you better not be mistaken, for the chef owner is as native peruvian as the food he serves, Try causas, ceviches tiraditos, arroz chaufa, etc., and you will not be dissapointed. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable.

this place is a good looking well designed space with an indoor flowing to outdoor patio, with gardening, vines, open kitchen and bar. it is not your typical cafe restaurant but is a sexy spot which serves creative and tasty dishes and, to our surprise, serves some of the best cocktails we have come across in our colombian travels. lunch "menu ejecutivos" are priced at approx. 8000 pesos but aren't your basic chicken and rice offerings. we had combinations of pork with blackberry sauce, chicken with mushroom sauce, meat balls, veggie lasagna, beet salad, cabbage salad, spinach soup, cream of carrot, and blackberry, mango, papaya, passion fruit juices etc as part of the fixed price menu. vegetarian options available. live music thursday to saturday from 8-10 and the place is busy attracting a loyal local crowd including students and profs. from the university across the street. don't miss it if you are in armenia. an easy place to relax for a couple of hours. good wifi.Thank you so much for you words, was lovely have you both here!!! hope to see you again

Recovering the gastronomic traditions of the "embera indigenous tribe" and black communities of the North Pacific coast of Colombia. Soul food made with fresh ingredients.
First, you need to know everything is ala cart. This can be a very expensive lunch if you are hungry and want a complete meal. The portions are small and more suitable as something for an evening after the movies. I had the mussles with aracacha puree. The puree was cold, very small portion, and the mussles were small and the wine sauce was "raw" (not cooked to burn off the alcohol) and very strong. My companion had the camarones encocada which were cold, though they would be a normal portion, with rice that was also cold. My mussles were hot, however. We ordered juice as soon as we sat down, and it didn't arrive until we finished our meal, and then they forgot to add the sugar to one. Waiting for that replacement was well over 20 minutes. When I addressed these issues with management, they simply said they hoped service would be better when we returned. Why would I return?
