No deja de ser un bar, pero quedé sorprendido con sus raciones generosas, además su calidad precio es razonable. Está en una calle céntrica de la población de Arbúcies en la provincia de Girona.Su tapa estrella son las patatas bravas, los bocadillos son de tamaño reglamentario. Fuà a cenar y pedà una ración de bravas, el dueño me aconsejó que pidiera media, ya que la ración entera es una bandeja solo apta para campeones. También decidà porbar un "mar y montaña" es una sepia con una quijada de cerdo a la brasa, la sepia estaba muy tierna y buenÃsima de postre la crema catalana la hacen muy rica.Estoy seguro de que repetiré, cierran los jueves.

local antiguo del pueblo, acogedor y amplio. comedor dentro y terraza fuera. buen servicio y buen precio y de calidad. que ricos los berberechos, vermut de tirador y buena calidad de cervezas

En Semana Santa estuvimos haciendo ruta por la zona y el viernes santo visitamos Arbucies y decidimos comer en este hostal porque escuchamos como una pareja del pueblo se le recomendaba a otra. Para ser festivo, habÃa menú que estaba muy bien de precio. En total no llegamos a pagar 40â¬.De primero pedà una 'Carn d'olla' de presentación peculiar (con un monolito en el centro) que estaba buena, pero algo frÃa. Mi pareja se pidió una berenjena rellena que estaba buenÃsima. De segundo pedimos carne que estaba buena también, pero sobretodo recordamos los postres. Sorbete de manzana ácida que estaba fresco y delicioso y una pirámide de queso blanco que estaba buenÃsimo.Si volviera al pueblo, seguramente repetirÃa.

Many years ago this restaurant was incredibly good with great lamb and fresh trout from their little trout farm. The situation of the restaurant is charming under tall trees and "away from it all". The last visit we made was some years ago and the food was terrible. Yesterday, we arrived in trepidation - the road or rather carriageway, being sand, was in a frightful state due to the recent heavy rains and a serious problem for our little car. It was clear that there was no one else there, but the owner/manager came out to greet us and we said we would like to eat. There was no daily menu but a weekend menu at 24.95 was offered. We decided to eat from the carte and indeed it was not cheap, but when the food started to arrive it was very good "country style" food and well cooked with good portions. There was only house wine available and it was typical of this type of restaurant, sweet, but quite drinkable. The general consensus was that we had had a good meal and we enjoyed coffee outside plus the inevitable chupita.This restaurant could be great again with good marketing and a little more care and attention. I found myself thinking that (having had bar/restaurants myself) it had obvious possibilities. Do try it, but not if you are looking for elegance or a cheap daily menu.

I went there with a couple of friends and I didn´t expect experiencing such a great catalan food in the middle of the Montseny natural park. Small familiar restaurant, it offers a pleasant view over the Maresme territory (north coast of Barcelona). The service and food taste was excelent. Totally recommended.

Staff accommodating, didn't speak English very well, but we are in Spain after all. We had the set menu, was slightly more expensive than you would expect in the uk. My son had the Cod, this was delicious and value for money. Nice area.

We decided to try this restaurant after reading the opinions in Trip advisor and we felt deceived because of the quality of the food. The attention received was very good,the place is just an average one, but the food is more than improvable, especially the rice and bread. The wine was awful and the coffee just an average one.

Arbucias is not exactly a place you would expect to find a high quality, gastronomic tapas place. Mams offers a delightful combination of casual setting, wonderful and unusual tapas with high quality regional wines. All this and quite reasonable costs with excellent and well informed service. Well worth the visit if you are in the area.
