we got a taxi from Calleta de Fuste to Rosario and just google mapped our way on foot to your doorstep after reading reviews for an a different tapas experience. Very accommodating as we had not made a reservation. 2 adults 2 children. The food was amazing - the service and staff were amazing - need I say more. This meal made our holiday that little bit more special. Well worth a visit, well worth the money.

This review simply relates to the café (rather than restaurant) as we called in just for a coffee. Suffice to say that the coffee was not the cheapest (E2-50), but certainly the best of our 2 weeks in Lanzarote (this being a day trip). The bar area is just superb, so much of interest with sides of ham and goat bells etc. hanging from the ceiling. The restaurant is directly opposite the church of the same name and the village, original island capital, is just gorgeous and timeless.

If you are a 'foody' you must visit here. Lots of different dishes to choose from. You receive a taster dish to begin your meal. Our starter involved 'popping' batter on king prawns delicious. Beef cheek was delicious as was the veal dish. We had to round off our meal with the chocolate dessert to share. Was amazing! Yes perhaps more expensive but was worth it.

We arrived at the restaurant as they were about to close & were told we could only have certain dishes from their menu which was fair enough. I had a pasta dish, which was excellent, my husband & our friend chose pizzas. My meal was excellent & was what I would have chosen if all of the menu had been available. My husbnad enjoyed his pizza, although my friend thought the crust on hers was overcooked. Even so we were grateful that they had stayed open to accommodate us & were impressed that the waiter apologised for the fact the full menu was not available. We will definitely go back, but next time much earlier in the evening.

Portuguese Steakhouse, Varied Menu and Barbecue Food - Restaurant.
Went here for a steak dinner with family in late October 2019 and had one of the best steaks I've eaten.Ended up ordering a t bone, rare with Roquefort sauce and a jacket potato.Tucked in to bread, olives and aioli whilst waiting which was nice touch. The house rosé was good, a good medium blend that would suit whether you like it sweet or dry. Nothing special just good Spanish plonk which is what you want really. The steak was, well, huge for starters. I mean I'm a greedy eater but even I thought it was massive. The quality was not sacrificed in any way, steak was flavoursome, well cooked and super tender.Potato was good as was the sauce, admittedly I prefer thicker but it was perfectly adequate if a little scarce for the size of steak.I was also lucky enough to try some of my sister's unwanted fillet steak cooked medium (the fillet steaks are huge here too) with peppercorn sauce and that too was as good as the t bone I had since devoured.Tia Maria coffee for dessert which was lovely, good ratio of coffee to spirit. Just right to finish off the meal although they do have desserts if you can finish one after a t bone you're a better man than I.The restaurant has a great atmosphere and service was excellent to boot.Would 10/10 return and recommend. No surprises it's such a success, book early to get a table.Thank you so very much Ross for taking the time to make all of your very positive comments here about your visit to my restaurant in Caleta de Fuste. I am so very happy to hear you say so many great things about it and that you all enjoyed everything about your meals. I am also very happy to hear you say that you enjoyed the complimentary bread and dip and olives we serve while you wait for your meals to be cooked to order. Many of our clients enjoy the steaks but also many other dishes we serve from our menu. Thank you also for recommending us to everyone who reads your great comments here on this website. We hope you will be able to visit with us again one day soon when we hope you will enjoy your next visit as much as you have this one and we all look forward to seeing you then. Thank you once again. Carlos

We stopped at this cafe whilst visiting Betancuria. The cafe is set in stunning gardens with lots of exotic plants and cacti. The food is also great quality, the burgers are fantastic. There is also a good choice of vegetarian options.

newly open restaurant, lovely atmosfere. A place where you can relax enjoying good homemade food... The terrace and the nice weather of the island allowes to eat outdoor most of the time. We have a good wine cellar with local wines from Lanzarote. Don't m
Having read the other excellent reviews, my husband, son and I chose to find this place for a final meal in Fuerteventura before our flight home yesterday. What a great restaurant! A very warm welcome, beautifully cooked and presented food, and in a quiet setting with views of hills over the greenery on the terrace. Everyone was friendly - including the other guests. We ordered from the specials and the main menu, and were delighted with all our starters and main courses. The fillet steak served on the hot stone was perfectly cooked and the tiny octopuses in a tomato sauce delicious. The avocado starter and the tuna carpaccio were works of art. A short drive back to the airport, but sadly not enough time to sample the dessert menu. Next time perhaps! Overall, we would all highly recommend -and return - to this delightful restaurant.

Restaurant based on a high quality cuisine, with specialties in traditional Spanish cuisine and the best traditional Moroccan cuisine. We take care of our service so that you find it an unforgettable experience.
We dined here last night. We ordered 5 tapas between two. Most if them were priced at 8. 90 euro. We ordered the mixed skewers 2 beef 2 chicken, canarian potatoes, garlic prawns, cod dumplings and iberian ham croquettes. The croquettes never arrived, though they did try to charge for them. The skewers were quite small, not large at all as other reviewers have said. They were just plain chicken and beef cooked on a grill and bbq sauce squirted over them. The cod dumplings were tasty and the. Garlic prawns were good too. The canarian potatoes were dismal. The mojo sauce poured over them was awful, not authentic at all and as I said the iberian ham croquettes never arrived to the table. It was very average tapas and not worth the price of 8.90 each, apart from the potatoes which were 4.20 or 4.60..i can't remember. We had two glasses of white wine which was nice. Overall I don't think this was worth the price and wouldn't be in a hurry to return. Very disappointed.
