We've been here many times at lunchtime. As we are Brits we are always early and usually the first (1 pm ash). They always make us welcome and the service is attentive. The menu range is good with excellent local dishes. We had guests with us that were coeliac and they put together a great gluten free meal for the children with attention to detail and contamination. The price is just right and the view marvellous. We will be backThank you very much Your are welcome always!!!!

In Meso Carrion we offer the traditional gastronomy of Malaga. We are between the city of Ãlora and El Chorro, where the spectacular Caminito del Rey is located. Do not miss the opportunity to taste the traditional dishes of the area in our restaurant. We
This restaurant is amazing, the staff friendly and the owner superb. We took a trip out from our day job at a local hostel in the area and discovered them at the Caminito Del Rey south, they have only been doing it a week but it's the BEST deal in the area by far; a free shuttle to the restaurant in a scenic and very Spanish and rural town 10mins away, with a menu of the day for 12 euros including a starter, main and tasting session of local products which you can buy on-site. The food is outstanding and most is homemade, you can also order a-la-carte if you wish. We also tried their homemade desserts - delicious! They can also book tickets for the caminito del rey for you. We will definitely be recommending this to our volunteers and customers visiting the caminito del rey!! Thank you Leonardo and staff :-)Thank you very much

I came here with my daughter during a long weekend in the region and we had heart good critics ab. this place. In fact they said that we should try it and that's what we did, without any regret! The owner knows how to treat his clients, and even if you go there for the first time, it feels like coming back.Nice place to sit and because it was a bit to chilly to sit outside, we preferred a cosy corner in what looks like a veranda, but seems like a protected terrace. We love Spain and we like to eat the way Spanish people do and so we prefer several dishes and or tapas and see where we get. We thought of ordering some more afterwords, but the portions were much bigger than expected...We could enjoy our choices of both meat and fish and all drinks were served with a perfect temperature. My girl loved the gamba's piri piri: "They where yummy!"The price was more than reasonable. If this place were in my city, I would love to have my own table there...Muchas gracias y hasta la próxima.!

We came into the restaurant by accident but it was a very pleasant surprise to find out that they were vegan and vegetarian friendly. Their daughter speaks English and she helped us wonderfully. The food is fresh with the finest herbs and creative vegan recipes.

A super lovely way to spend a lunch near Alora! Incredible views and an excellent meal. Decently priced as well. We did not stay at the hotel but it looked like it could be 5 stars. The drive through the Camino del Ray is not to be missed!

We two dropped by for lunch at 2 p.m. on a weekday without making a reservation. Luckily we found a table in the empty dining room. Within half an hour most of the tables were taken, so I recommend booking in advance. The menu is typically Andalucian, with plenty of fish and meats cooked in the usual manner. There is also an extensive selection of tapas which looked very good.We shared a large bowl of delicious Salmorejo which was a meal in itself, garnished with jamon, boiled egg and tuna. My salmon a la plancha was possibly the weakest element of this meal, as the salmon, rather than being a single decent piece was three smallish slices. It had been cooked, but not seared and the skin remained limp and soft rather than my preferred crispy and well-coloured. The chicken brochette was very nicely prepared and tasted good.We had a bottle of the house red, and a bottle of water. The bill was around E45 excluding a tip.All round a decent experience.

Visited twice recently and on each occasion the service and food were brilliant. The tapas is very reasonably priced and cooked to order so itâs fresh and lovely. Large menu so lots of choice and you can see everything prepared inside by the counter. Thoroughly recommend and if your Spanish isnât that great you can pick up an English tapas menu too.

One of my favourite places, as it is close to home as well.It is situated in a very nice location with fantastic view over the mountains and valley. Service is always superb and very attentive to our needs. If you ask for something special, they will try to make it for you.Food is very good with big portions, so no excuse for being hungry after a meal.I recommend this place with honour. Muchas gracias por su visita y por su opinión Henrik, para nosostros es un placer atenderles y nos alegra que haya disfrutado con la visita a nuestras instalaciones:Saludos cordiales de todo el equipo de Hacienda Los Conejitos

Weâd never have found this restaurant but it was recommended by our Airbnb. We went for a long lunch. Had a wonderful experience. Bottle of House wine, bread, two fabulous main courses (monkfish and steak) a chocolate brownie, coffees brandy and cava for 70e. Best meal weâve had on our trip. Great service too.

Visited this restaurant several times during our stay in Ãlora, delicious food and value for money unbelievable, staff work really hard and the female waitress is extremely friendly, we donât speak much Spanish but do our best to try and I think itâs appreciated, Andalucia Day was particularly busy but they worked like trojans to accommodate all of their customers.
