Find out what Southwestern restaurants to try in Sparks. Along the Truckee River in the tranquil Truckee Meadow is fast-growing Sparks, Nevada, Reno's less flamboyant neighbor to the east. Although home to only one high rise casino, Sparks offers visitors other pleasures with live festivals and events in open air venues, a lively farmers' market, a multiplex theater and less pricey accommodations than its high-rolling neighbor. Its proximity to both Reno's casinos and Lake Tahoe makes Sparks a perfect destination for a Northern Nevada Vacation.

Enjoy your favorite classic Mexican dishes such as Carne Asada, Fish Tacos and Pork Carnitas or choose from a variety of seafood and steak entrees. Our 99 cent margarita is always on the menu, served frozen or on the rocks.
Never disappointed here. Food is great, prices are more than reasonable and drink prices are lower than other restaurants. Service is great too. Munching chips are great..not to crazy about their salsa but they still get an excellent rating from me. The downside is that you have to walk through the casino slot machine area where people smoke (EW) to reach the restaurants. Wish these areas were smoke free!

We love this little hideaway!â¤ï¸â¤ï¸The owner has chef training in two cultures and his products reflect that: fresh, generous and innovative Mexican dishes. YUM. He works very hard, too.The margaritas are outstandingâsimple and delicious, no weird mixers. Service is great and the music, authentic (Can hardly sit still!):)We do miss the vintage red booths a lot, and we would love to see cushions added to at least some of the chairs for our skinny, boomer butts, thanksâ¤ï¸.Check this âlil gem out!!

We had dinner here on a very quiet Sunday evening, only one other party there when we arrived.Waitress was friendly and helpful when I asked for a sample of a sauce. I had a delicious seafood burrito and a side salad, which was huge and only $1.50 (for the salad)! The creamy avocado dressing is amazing! I had enough left for lunch the next day. The only complaints I have are: 1. She didnât bring my salad until about 10 minutes before our entrees arrived2. With the whole restaurant empty (other than us) why would she seat a party right next to us when we had an infant and two year old, who while very well behaved were at times a little loud? I will return when in the mood for Mexican food!
