Be sure to bring your appetite and the portions are quite large. We had stopped by for dinner prior to a show. I had a pork and avocado burrito smothered In Green chili. My husband had the double patty slopper and there was so much food we couldn't possibly eat it all at dinner. We really enjoyed the food. I believe they have a much busier lunch business than their dinner business. I would certainly go back.

The food is really good especially the hamburgers. But what they should work on are the churros the churros I ordered were not fully cooked on the inside the dough was still wet also they didn't have much flavor to them I couldn't really taste the sweetness. But other than that taco stop has really good food I do recommend ordering your food from there.

I have eaten here at different times. A couple of times the food was exceptional and great presentation but usually just ok. The place needs to be cleaned up. It has very little atmosphere with the entrance very crowded.

Seated quickly at a table we requested. Our server came to the table quickly and took our drink order...margarita and draft beer. We also asked for chips and salsa which were delivered to the table. She answered our questions and took our order...very pleasant. There were two groups of 10-12 people but our food still came our quickly and it was hot. The pork tamales were delicious as was the rice and beans that comes with the plate. The chicken enchiladas were equally delicious with the chicken being very moist. The hot green chile was in fact hot and tasty. Our server came back to the table several times ensuring that we were still enjoying the meal and that we did not need anything. The overall atmosphere was good and the place clean. We will return.

While traveling from Denver to Santa Fe, we decided to try this little local restaurant (it's take-out only). It was easy to get to from I25 which was very convenient. I had a bacon breakfast burrito that had green chili, bacon, potatoes and eggs (and cheese that I asked for). My husband had the same but with chorizo instead of bacon. He said the chorizo tasted more like ground beef, but still enjoyed the burrito. On the menu, it says "had held" burritos and they were. They were easy to eat in the car--not messy at all. I will definitely stop there again when I'm in Pueblo at breakfast time.

Their green chile has changed a bit over the years, but our last visit was still satisfying and filling. The prices seemed a bit higher too, although the portions were good. It was very busy, so we'd recommend getting there sooner, than you are hungry! Parking on either side of the building, and the margs are definitely strong.

Ordered an enchilada and cheese chili relleno. Added green Chile. Husband had that plus two tacos. Also had queso dip and guacamole. All acceptable Mexican food. Chips were warm, which was nice touch. Only thing was food seemed slightly under salted. But we got in, fed, and out quickly.

Located within spitting distance of the old steel mills, the Mill Stop Cafe is a trip back in time, an old fashioned cafe that fixes decent Mexican food. For some, it's probably heavy on the cheese, but I enjoyed my meal and the old fashioned diner atmosphere. Is see from others there was a long wait, not our experience. Probably depends on when you go. The south side of Pueblo has a character all of its own, I think it's worth it if you're into exploring the city.

There are so many Mexican restaurants in Pueblo, and many of them are both good and unique. Cactus Flower delivers the Tex-Mex food with gusto. And if you go during the chili season, order a Pueblo Chili margarita. It is SO GOOD AND TASTY!Thanks for the great review, yes we have plenty of great restaurants in Pueblo. We love that you enjoyed our unique Pueblo Chile margarita. Our bartender Dana came up with this delicious concoction.
