We went on April 2nd for Taco Tuesday. I became violently ill from the experience. Sick for 4 days. Went to the doctor and she said most likely it was from whomever handled the food. Calls to management were met with indifference. Sad to say this is the last trip into this restaurant. Please clean up your act and inspect your kitchen.

There were only three empty tables that werenât high-tops, but they were all dirty. We took the cleanest one (foul odor around it, though, like mold) and the waiter showed up pretty quickly. When he asked if he could clean it and I responded, âYes, please,â (maybe a bit sarcastic, but nicely) he got smart and was like, âThatâs why the Ziosk was turned down, cuz itâs dirty,â so I pointed out that all of the non-high-tops were dirty. He looked around and realized I was right and seemed a bit sheepish. The Presidente margaritas were on special so we splurged and each got one. I enjoyed my strawberry margarita and husband enjoyed his blackberry margarita. However, the shakers are dribbly when you pour, making a mess on the table. The food was delivered quickly and was fresh and delicious. The waiter was attentive, checking on us often enough, and kept a smile on his face, very nice guy once we got past that initial bump in the road. I never saw a manager, which was unusual for this restaurant. Not a bad thing, just not the norm.

We were geared up for this to be special...but it was not. The dips were not very appealing and thin. The guacamole was thin and drippy. The red enchillada sauce was not spicy at ALL and tasted very strongly of cinnamon. Not my favorite for sure. Chile Rellenos tasted fine but had a thick mealy coating that was not crispy at all. Hubby had chimichangas which were barely crispy...the chicken inside was good...no complementary chile sauce at all...probably a good thing. Rice and beans were good but unexceptional. The cafe is cute, very basic and out of the way. The bill for 2 without anything fancy came to 35$ before the tip. This was more expensive than many other similar cafes in Santa Fe, Tucson or Scottsdale but not nearly as good. But the waitress was charming and very nice.

We went here with friends after seeing a movie at Harkins; it was right next door. They set a table for 5 quickly and the waitress was quick to answer menu questions and get our drink orders. We often gauge a new Mexican place by their salsa & chips, and theirs were very good; salsa was mild-med. spicy and thick & chunky like we want, and they also offered a cheesey dip that I liked, but not my wife. I ordered their Chicken Fajita Quesadilla, and my wife had the bean Tostada, a la Carte (no side of beans & rice). She liked her Tostada (as did I, at only $4.50!), but I was not impressed with my Quesadilla. It had many chunks of diced grilled chicken and a white cheese (seemed wet, almost a sauce?), but just a few bits of onion & hardly any green peppers. The meat was not seasoned how I expected (some type of "Taco/Fajita" flavoring would've been nice... not plain chopped grilled chicken breast, almost like it was "from a bag?"), so overall my meal was... rather bland. We have other options for good Mexican food locally that we like better (Plaza Bonita in PV, Cafe Alvarez and Lindo Mexico in Prescott, even PV's Del Taco), so we likely won't be back here very soon.

We decided to give this place a try and we should have left the minute we opened the doors. The place was dirty it stunk and the server couldn't get one beer right. He had to tell her 5 times and time time she came back with the wrong beer. The food sucked and so did the service. Will never go back nor would I reccomend them to anyone.
