El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant

From the moment we walked in, we should have walked out. Our party of 7 stood and waited for someone to appear and acknowledge us for seating. After being seated, we had to go get our own menus. We then were disturbed by a group 5 tables away. The group had 3 adult males and a child. At least one male was intoxicated, yelling and dropping the F-bomb for all to hear. When the waitress came to take our drink order, I asked her “what’s the deal with the loud drunken table?”She responded by saying “yeah, I don’t know, I just started my shift, the manager and owner are both here tonight too.”After our food order was placed, we continued to listen to the F-bomb and talk of anal sex. Remember, there was a child at their table. There was a table of 4 woman who came in about 15 minutes into this vulgar display. These women also had to complain about the drunken table. Shortly after their complaint, the group left. These woman were so concerned about the level of intoxication of the group that they followed them out to make sure that the very intoxicated guy did not drive the group. The soft tacos were very bland. The seafood enchiladas were OK. My wife did enjoy the flavor of the chicken in her enchiladas. I was given an unsweetened ice tea that was undrinkable. The rest of our party did not rave about their food and all agreed that we will never eat at this establishment again. The manager never made any attempt to apologize for the atmosphere of the restaurant.

I thought the food was just ok Mexican. But I was astounded by the filthy menus and bar. The help is horrible, ignoring us and not bringing drinks for 15 minutes when there were only 2 other people in the restaurant. Most of them don't speak english either which makes things difficult. Sadly, I got very sick all night after eating here, and I would never eat here again or recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Arrived with two others and the restaurant was sparsely populated. It was our first time there and, seeing the great reviews, we were all very excited to try the food. When we arrived, we were greeted in a rather terse manner and we sat ourselves. 10 minutes later, we received water and we put in our order for two chicken burritos and pork taquitos. For the next 1.5 hours we waited for two simple chicken burritos and the taquitos. 1.5 HOURS! Meanwhile, we all went about 30 minutes without water after having finished our glasses collectively. Now on to the drinks and food. The pork taquitos came out quite well; the meat was tender and well-seasoned. The watermelon blueberry sangria was another standout; refreshing and perfectly sweet. The burritos, however, were a different story. The rice. Oh the rice. Ugh. It disintegrated and crumbled when touched. There was also no perceptible seasoning. The rice to chicken ratio was very skewed, with almost no chicken to be found. Now the chicken. Bleh. Dry and painfully under-seasoned, even with the help of the house hot sauces. At the end of the day, we spent almost two hours waiting on generally subpar food. We will not be returning the next time we are in the area.
