Friends from out of town wanted to go to Uncle Julios. I hadn't been there in many years, due to an earlier bad experience, but agreed to join them. This visit was much better, though there were some issues. The Bad:1. Even though the restaurant was not very full, we were seated at a four-top right at the entry door to the patio. One of my friends was hit repeatedly in the back every time a staff member entered or exited the patio. We were only a party of four, so it was annoying that we were seated in such a crazy high-traffic area.2. No draft beer. I'm not a beer drinker, but my friends are. They were disappointed that they could only get bottled beer.3. Crazy long wait for food. Between the completion of the tableside guacamole and the delivery of our main courses, there was more than a 45 minute lag. We didn't order anything special or unusual.4. We had to beg for more tortillas for fajitas. The tortillas were delicious, but we only received three. Three of us had fajitas. We had to keep asking for more. I don't like feeling as if I am portraying Oliver Twist: "please, sir, may I have some more?" I don't expect 10 tortillas per person, but two or three would have been nice. The Good:1. The food was delicious! I had the honey chipotle chicken and bacon fajitas. I can't express how much I enjoyed them. My friends also enjoyed their food. The chips were wonderful -- very thin and crispy. 2. The tableside guac was great. The team member who made it was personable and customized it to the satisfaction of our table.3. The chocolate pinata (chocolate lover's edition). We loved it! The chocolate empanadas and churros that filled it were a wonderful end to the meal.4. The manager. He approached our table and apologized for the significant delay in our entrees and gave us a nice credit on our final bill.

My sister and I walked in to Uncle Julioâs for lunch on a gloomy, rainy day and our mood was immediately lifted. Uncle Julioâs has such a friendly, happy vibe and the food is outstanding. Service is excellent. Table-side guacamole with fixings to order was just perfect. We had lunch-size portions of enchiladas and tacos with rice and beans. The rice was a little dry but the seasoned beans were delicious and the quality of the cheeses used was excellent. Frozen margarita was perfect. Lots of margarita choices. Not a good place for a quiet or serious conversation; otherwise, enjoy!

At Los Toltecos - Sterling, we are proud to offer fresh food in an atmosphere suited for the family. We invite everyone to have a meal with us. Enjoy!
Toltecos is a great place to savor homestyle Mexican food with a wide array of beef, chicken, pork seafood and vegetarian choices. Their housemade salsa is top-notch and their chips are always fresh and warm when they arrive at the table. They have drink specials every night and they make some of the best Margaritas you'll ever drink. Their service is always great and the food arrives at the table fairly quickly and always hot.

Visiting family and they were hyped up on this place. Liked the decor and our server âDeniseâ was on her game. I had the Chile Rellenos/Enchilada Combo, ok flavor but a little too long under the warmer! Dry! Like most American Hispanic restaurants, they are heavy on the beans and rice (note picture) using up over half the plate. Wife found the pepper under cooked and commented the chicken was âhard to findâ! After many years in the South West and West, and Baja, weâve just accepted the âdifferenceâ in what is considered âto die forâ meals within 50 miles of DC. Basically, the high concentration of people and âeating outâ frequency allows for âOKâ or Average restaurants to flourish! Again, average isnât bad, just didnât meet my expectations !

Wow my first visit to Sterling Plaza Azteca and it was delicious. My wife has been a Plaza Azteca fan with her office colleagues. The restaurant was packed for Mothers Day so we opted to sit at their expansive comfortable bar. We had uber professional quick drink and order service. Our lunch entrees were piping hot and DELICIOUS. We love Mexican food - Plaza Azteca delivered sterling service and wonderful Margaritas.
