I walked in for a solo meal here during a business trip to Denver, and got a seat at the bar. This place is super fun. There was a DJ playing an excellent mix of music, great lighting, friendly staff and very good food. The vegetarian Chile Relleno and the Queso Fundido are both excellent. Great choice of beers too. Highly recommended, but be prepared for it to be loud and busy. Not really a romantic first date kind of place!

First time visitor. Service was outstanding everyone working as a team with a smile on their face. Quality of the food was great. Ordered avacado smash with scrambled eggs. I had two dinners at La Loma and both were excellent. Great service both nights, excellent food. The chips and salsa are totally addictive and delicious. The first night I had a combo, and I suspect everything will be good (I had chicken taco, cheese enchilada, and chicken chimichanga) and the next next chicken enchiladas with green chili sauce (highly recommended!). Loved the Cadillac margarita. The fact that I went back twice implies I highly recommend La Loma - so much that I've already recommended it to family who visit Denver often.

My family and I were looking for some Mexican food. Tacos Tequila was on our way back to Denver. We were not disappointed. All the tacos were delicious as was the Queso Fundido.

We stopped here for Sunday lunch just as it opened at Noon. Tocabe takes a Mexican fast-food approach to serving, with servers at the counter filling your plate with your choices from the assembled options. My wife and I both had the Indian Taco Plate with braised shredded bison, black beans, osage hominy, lettuce, cheese, mild tomato salsa and seed mix. Both the individual flavours and the overall combination of tastes were divine. The ingredients were fresh and high quality, and the cooking superb. I don't know how close this food is to what American Indians traditionally ate on the Colorado mountains and plains, but it is truly delicious. Not to be missed if you're in Denver.
