The latest of several visits, this location is perfect for before/after Paramount/Stateside shows. The menu is varied, basic American fare, the wine list is fine, prices reasonable and the food consistently good. Service has always been great, but on this visit, outstanding. Recommend both of the Austin locations.

We stopped by on the recommendation of a local, and were not disappointed! We had the beef brisket, pulled pork and turkey and all were absolutely delicious. Sides were great too. You order at the counter and the staff were really helpful in giving advice on our order, letting us taste a couple of the meats etc. Would thoroughly recommend!

The staff at Corner Restaurant did an exceptional job making the surprise engagement party I hosted on October 19, 2019 a complete success. The food was terrific (tostadas!, yum), bartenders, along with the wait staff, were attentive and made sure no one waited on drinks or cocktails too long, and the East Bar area we occupied was kept immaculately clean the entire time. Furthermore, the process beforehand of understanding our options for the event in terms of venues within the JW, food and drink selections, and what we were allowed to bring/place in terms of decorations was clear and seamless. The Private Dining Staff was super responsive and excited to make the day as easy as possible. Thank you so much!Thank you for taking the time to share your engagement experience! We are so glad to hear your party enjoyed their time; and again Congratulations on behalf of Corner Restaurant!

Entree's are always perfect, great service, a tad loud, but its a busy place. Wish that had Key Lime Pie on a set schedule....very sad when its out, other desserts are ok, but not even close to the KLP....

This place was recommended to me by the girl at the front desk of the hotel I stayed at. I usually shy away from chains but didn't realize it was part of a chain until after I'd already eaten there and been wowed. There's an all-you-can-eat nacho car (bar) during happy hour M-F. That alone is worth the visit. All you need to order is a drink and the nacho car is yours to visit as many times as your stomach can manage. There are great thin tortilla chips, their wonderful queso, their exceptional refried beans, taco meat with pepper and onion bits, sliced pickled jalapenos, pico de gallo (their original spicy salsa), and ranchero sauce (according to them, the least spicy, but still had a nice kick).Upon learning it was my first visit, my wonderful waiter offered me samples of any of the salsas on the menu. The Hatch green chile came out warm, and genuinely spicy (like it should be!). I tried not to go overboard on the free stuff because I wanted to try something on the menu. Friday's special offering, chicken enchiladas with a creamy spicy avocado salsa (and the standard rice and refried beans), was recommended, and was delicious, reasonably priced, and a large enough portion that I had leftovers enough for breakfast. And seriously, any Tex-Mex or Mexican place that makes refried beans as good as Chuy's is a 10 in my book.Go. You won't be sorry you did.

Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q serves Real Texas Bar-B-Q seven days a week. They offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and group meals.
Its been 6 years since we last came to Rudys, and it is still finger lickin awesome. Half a pound of brisket was barely enough for the meat lovers in the group. Their red bliss potatoes were even better than last time, and lets not forget their potato salad and coleslaw. The creamy corn was not a big hit, but it was sweet and creamy as always. The staff was superb, sweet and kind. Outdoor seating was nice, but too hot, so we moved inside. Loved it, loved it, loved it!!!!!

We haven't found better food in this price range anywhere. Everything is fresh and above average for comfort food. We love the Ruby Trout Salad or Dinner and the Chicken Fried Chicken. Their guacamole is so good, we managed to get the recipe. The house margarita is refreshingly different and worth a try. Highly recommend!

BBQ food trailer in Austin, Tx serving up the best of BBQ with a tex-mex flare.
Beginning a work trip by stopping at Valentina's given recommendations - was totally worth the 30-minutes waiting in line. The proprietors use Mesquite wood for BBQ, which burns hotter vs Oak offering a different but delicious taste. The brisket, barbacoa and carnitas tacos were simply amazing. Will come back!

Exemplary shout out to our server tonight, Jensyn. Warm and sweet hospitality. She was very detailed with her explanation of the menu which always helps make or break a good dining experience. The food is what you would expect from Chef Love, excellent. Order everything at once and let them do the rest as they will course it in a timely fashion. Plates were always removed when finished so there was room for the next course. See photos of what we ordered. Too bad we were too full to order dessert but Jensyn was so sweet she brought us bite sized samples of their chocolate cake which was the perfect way to end such a decadent dinner. Such a memorable way to end our Austin visit.

Spacious, casual stop for pit-smoked meats & housemade sides from famous 4th-generation pitmasters.
The brisket and ribs I had were beyond description; juicy, tasty, perfectly seasoned, absolutely the best I've ever tried. Maybe the best red meat I've ever had. I've thought of ordering it online, but who am I kidding? Nothing will replace the spectacular experience of this fresh meal eaten right there with lip-smacking enjoyment. Next visit to Austin, I'm going to Terry Black's straight from the airport.
