It was my first time in Sardinia and I came here with my family. I tried something new to me but very popular over there (a horse meat burger!) And it was absolutly amazing! The food was very fresh and everyone working there was so welcoming. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend Yumbeer, I will definitely go there again when I next visit Sardinia.

Lovely authentic restaurant just off the beaten track. Phone ahead or call in to reserve your pork as you can't just turn up. Loved the huge sea food starter. My 9-year old really enjoyed his spaghetti. The service is not fast, but that adds to the relaxed nature of this place. One of our most favourite meals of the whole holiday.

As we visited the Cala Sinzias beach almost every day during our holiday stay in Castiadas, The Lido Tamatete really grew on us us. The restaurant/ cafe is open from morning hours too late nights every day. The staff have always been friendly and welcoming to us. Its awesome to see such a dedicated staff working as a team these long summer days. The service is well organized and equipped to be fast and comes with a smile consistently during every visit (we were there almost every day for an ice cream or a drink, lunch or dinner). The place feels relaxed and not pushy, the beautiful setting is a plus. No cheap plastic chairs, its styled in quality which is also how we experienced the food here, regardless if it was lunch or dinner, nice weather or raining. Great fresh fish, the best steak I've had in years and a beautiful local wine list. Kids menu available, when they are done they can go play on the playground or to the beach right in front, whilst parents enjoy finishing their meal in peace. We were impressed with the overall execution, consistency, atmosphere and quality of food. Apart form this review I also let the owner know how lucky he is to have such a well run place. Just compare to many others in the area, you will come back again and again. Enjoy.

After reserving the dinner for 6 people and 2 baby-strollers, we ended up dealing with highly rude stuff, being pissed off with us that the place reserved had no physical place for strollers. Then they tried to persuade us that we never made a reservation even though there was a free table for 6 people on our surname?!?!? After ignoring their obvious rudeness and bad education, and kindly waiting for another table, the old lady (supposed owner) stood up, SCREAMING at us, embarrassing us in front of the full restaurant, even having the dignity to lecture us on how we should behave and when we should eat when with babies! She even pushed one of us, starting to be aggressive. Should I repeat, always screaming. I can understand everything, but being rude and impolite for no reason, or at least, not our mistake, I can not. Horrible! Wouldn't go there even if they would offer free food for life! Sad people!

Very nice place and easy to find. The big room where the dinner is served is very spacious and nicely put, everyone is extremely kind.Is advisable to book in advance and let them know if you have any special diet requirement. As a Vegetarian I found this place rather nice apart from the fact that they served the ravioli with the same sauce they cooked the sausage in (for the gnocchetti pasta), the taste of meat was strong at first bite but you can then ask to bring it without the sauce and you should be good to go.Many different dishes, a couple of starters and a couple of first courses.Portions are generous, but we did not get a dessert, very unusual.Drink as much as you want is also a plus if you are a big drinker. The pasta is homemade and really nice!Kind Edif, thank you for the review, I would like to point out that all the special menus (vegan and celiac vegetarians) are cooked while being careful not to "contaminate" dishes with ingredients that go against your ethics. So it is impossible to have served the ravioli with tomato sauce and sausages, also because the ravioli serve him with simple tomato sauce, malloreddus to the sausages were taken to his wife,Thank you very much Michael.See you next time

spent a night in one of the self catering apartments in october 2014. Unusually for sardinia, lovely architecture absolutely spotless accommodation and everything worked! the restaurant was closed so we ate at the lovely Quercia restaurant. You could cycle or short drive to the beach from here. Owners kindly let us have the rooms until 5pm so we could come back from beach and shower before leaving. They will have wi-fi by next year, they say - great place for a really truly relaxing stay in vineyards, mountains & sea

The location is lovely, in the countryside, very well kept. They were very very nice in accommodating our requests. I am celiac and there were no problems at all, I even had gluten free home-made desserts!! Everything is home made, they serve only traditional Sardinia dishes, maybe a bit unusual for some but very very tasty. You can feel that all the dishes are made with a lot of care and passion. Definitively recommended!(reservations necessary)

An highly enjoyable evening and unlike other Agriturismos we were not swamped with too much food. It was good to eat a few things that we wouldnât have considered ordering so good to try new things and the local wine was good (and plentiful)Recommended

I have just returned from two weeks in Villasimius, a great place. I visited quite a number of restaurants but this one really stood out for me. On the three occasions that we were there we had the fish of the day and on each occasion it was fantastic. On each visit we got a table by the window overlooking the marina and the hills beyond, which was very pleasant. The service was excellent and I must mention in this context Jose and Marina who were friendly, nice and very helpful.Top of the class.!
