Bite On The Go is a Brazilian buffet style restaurant, family owned, located in the Vineyard Haven Harbor on the beautiful island of Martha's Vineyard. Serving breakfast, lunch and diner year round.

From the outside this looks like the usual QuikMart at a gas station. It is part of the gas station, but it has a great Brazilian buffet open for breakfast lunch and dinner. You pay for your food by the pound ($7.39/lb) and a full plate heaping over with rice, beans, plantains, pork, beef, and fish is about 1.5 pounds. There is a simple room to eat in which looks like a school cafeteria or you put it all in a container and take it out. Friendly, helpful staff. Best of all is the food. I have been to Brazil 5 times and this is the real thing. Well spiced, but not spicy. Not a place for a leisurely dinner but a great quick place to eat well and inexpensively which is not so easy to find on Martha's Vineyard.

This restaurant just opened at the beginning of the summer. It is modeled in the Brazilian churrascaria style with various grilled meats passed on skewers. All of the meats served were excellent. There is also a large accompanying salad bar which includes some hot dishes as well as seafood. The bar serves an great selection of flavored caipirinhas.The service was good and the venue appears to service all ages and group types. I wish them well as this is a great addition of variety to the Vineyard restaurant scene.

3. Island Fresh Pizza

This is a smaller take-out only pizza and sandwich shop. The pizzas are mediocre but the sandwiches are decent. Easy to park outside of town on a main road. Open year round. Also offers Brazilian specialties.
