Our food came quickly. I had seafood soup in milk. Large bowl comes with rice. My husband tried to order spaghetti with shrimp in red wine sauce, as per the English translation. But the Spanish was mixed seafood which he doesn't like. So he tried to order fettuccine with white sauce and shrimp. Ended up with spaghetti bolognese. We would return after trying other options in the area.

Our experience was much different than those previously commenting. The Caesar salad came with bacon and other vegetables not typically on a traditional Caesar salad, and without a Caesar dressing, and steak recommended by owner was very tough, but a decent flavor. I realize we were in Costa Rica and menu items would be a bit different than our expectations but, really, if you are going to market something called a Caesar salad, at least know how to make it! On the other hand, our meal at the Longhorn in Tronadora for half the price was far superior, and more adequately represented!
The meal was superb in every respect. Service is exceptional, and menu offers many selections. Portions were quite generous. One dines here and feels as if transported to a place far from Tilarán.
New and VERY good. I went on opening day. I ha a Mochaccino and perfect baked snack. There is a large variety of options, delicious looking baked goods and many choices for coffee and espresso drinks, plus many options to choose from for fresh fruit smoothies.
Always a place to enjoy wonderfully-prepared ceviche, located on the road leading into the heart of Tilaran from Cañas (route 142). Señor Guayo, owner and proprietor, seems to strike an excellent balance in serving outstanding dishes and the menu offers quite a few selections. Moreover, he greets customers as if long-lost friends, and as the Ticos would say....he is "muy amigable". The portion size is generous, and service is attentive. To ward off any pesky mosquitoes, the Marisqueria Guayo even provides repellant for customers.

the menu has a lot to chose from, the service was friendly and fairly fast. The food was homemade and fresh, very tasty. I recommend the cevieche and guacamole chips, my husband had the chicken casado, even the Italian salad dressing is homemade. Very nice lunch, I will eat here again.

We went here for dinner one night since it was recommended be a few of our friends that live in the area. Our experience was not the best for dining in the area. I ordered the pasta with walnut . It was so salty I cound not eat it. My wife order a rice dish and the rice was undercooked and crunchy. Even though I expressed my dissatisfaction to the waiter he either didn't understand or didn't care.
