Located in the heart of Nicoya, with quiet atmosphere and colonial style. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fast food and cafeteria.
Despite a reasonable to good breakfast, we were charged approximately double, because they thought we were "tourists". We had eaten identical food here before, for exactly half the price, which is the norm. We were warned that this could happen.

Great service and the food was just as good. six beers for 4500 colones, but since we mixed our selection, it was around an extra 600 colones. No biggie. what a good deal and great time
In Costa Rica, a soda is a small tipic restaurant. The quality of what we ate (device and fish plate) was good enough to beat good restaurants! If you don't mind about picnic tables and design or decoration, you will eat succulent meals (fish is fresh and tasty) in a friendly family atmosphere. And we ate ceviche everywhere we went in CR, and theirs is unbeatable. Oh, by the way, the prices are also unbeatable! Let's taste and you will be enchanted!
We live about 40 minutes from Nicoya but every time we have to go into Nicoya, we always make it a point to eat there whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. Open 24-hrs a day! I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Our restaurant is a point of reference of Costa Rican food in Nicoya, in addition we offer Cake and Coffee.
We found this place by chance and its a fantastic little cafe with very good coffee as well as local food and cakes! The prices are very reasonable too. They are very popular among the locals.

One word, great ceviche! Let the debate begin, I consider myself an uncertified connoisseur of good ceviche, and I considered this one of my favorites. Make sure to ask for the "Lazarus Rises" or LEVANTATE LAZARO. They also make a very good seafood stew.

Breakfast here was a delightful experience, on a beatiful day. All around is the rural area of Caimitalito, with birdsong and stuning views - a real relaxing holiday feeling, to chill-out by.The presentation of the food was excellent, on large square plates - china, not plastic - expertly arranged, and what's more delicious, flavourful, and filling. The refresco was perfection, and the coffees huge, and top quality. These are new owners, from El Salvador, who have continued the excellent reputation, earned by their predecessors. Many nick-nacks and rural curios adorn the walls, and ceiling, adding interest and talking points.
