This is a very Brazilian place. The staff seems moody. They are talking with each other and it seems that one is bothering them, if one wants something. Also the dishes are huge! But the waiter will say "It's enough to share, if you are not hungry". What a joke! Two people can't finish one dish! Finally you might think that Brazilian food isn't very good. But that is not true. However, here I thought how unfortunate a picture this place gives of Brazilian food. But there is a lot of it! So if that's your thing, you will enjoy it. And the caipirinhas are good.

During a short stay in Newark, a good ole' friend recommended this place and it was it was an excellent choice! AWESOME service, great atmosphere, good prices and the food was pretty good as well! The Caipirinhas were off the hook, music was a bit too loud, but it was part of the vibe! Great night to remember and Mr. Adams helped a lot!

A very nice place to eat some good Brasilian food. I like the concept of the all you can eat menu. I also like the different stations in the back where you can get rice and beans and other food items. The picanha was fantastic. They also have live music on the weekend.Definetely would go there again,
Fantastic Latin American food from an unassuming basement eatery. The food here is really amazing and very well priced. I love the Pernil pork shoulder, but even the baked chicken and rice and beans are great here. The new location is also much nicer. Be ready for a bit of a line though as people have discovered the great food here. Grab the $7 lunch special and be full all day.

I have been here at least 10 times but have not written a review. I don't live close, but fly out of Newark Airport regularly, and this is just 10 minutes away, great for a meal before or after travel. You might be afraid of Newark, but this restaurant is in the Ironbound district of the city, and seems a bit safer. There are a lot of Portuguese and Brazilian residents of this area too (not connecting ethnicity to safety though). The restaurant has its own parking area, and I have never felt concerned about leaving luggage in the car while there. Both Brazilians and non-Brazilians come here, and I have met many who are repeat customers. Boi Na Brasa is such a great place because it combines a great atmosphere with great food and reasonable prices. There are all your Brazilian favorites on a very extensive menu, and the servings are large. The staff is Brazilian. You can dine formally in the dining room, where they accommodate small or large groups, but I often prefer dining in the front bar/café area, especially if I am alone. The sausage with yucca appetizer and shrimp in garlic sauce appetizers are incredible, and are good for 2-3 people to share before a meal. The picanha steak, and moqueca fish dish are genuine. All come with salad bar. You can also get the limitless rodizio style of meat service if you wish. Enjoy!

This is a small hamburger place down neck in Newark. Parking is somewhat of challenge. Burgers are very good and pretty big. For $6 or $7, you get a really nice size burger with plenty of toppings. Beef empanadas were excellent, chicken was ok. Dining area only has a few tables. Overall, really good burgers at a reasonable price.
