My boyfriend and I were yesterday in this cosy restaurant. This is not a big place but it has a great food and really friendly staff. I ordered Saltado G... It was really tasty. The Lemonade is amazing. 100% recommended. Thank you for your recommendation. As you mentioned, the Lomo Saltado is full of taste and, as all in Kuélap, it is always prepared with the best ingredients. This dish has become one of our visitors' preferred along with the lemonade. We are glad that you had a chance to try and to enjoy a token of our Peruvian Cuisine.

I would recommend San Carbon for any occasion. The Staff were amazing, the food fantastic, and the live music made the night perfect. It is a little pricey, but well worth the extra expense for the ambience. We ordered Chinchalines, Churasco, rum, and wine. Every think was cooked to perfection.

Our history dates more than 30 years ago, when Hatoviejo was established in front of the 5 star Intercontinental Hotel. We wanted to provide the city with a cozy atmosphere, full with paisa culture and offer guests the best of Colombia's traditional food
Serves real, traditional, local foods with quality. You can find "fast-food" style local food restaurant a lot in Colombia, but this one is authentic Colomiban foods.I enjoyed very much. If you stay in the city center of Medellin, this location is a little bit far. Maybe 20 minutes by UBER depending on the trafic. If you stay at Intercontinental Medellin, it is just across the street.

Inside the Botanical Garden, this lovely restaurant was a real surprise for us; it's elegant yet casual, medium-priced, great service and you feel like you are in the garden--indoor-outdoor setting. Did I mention excellent food? We had the watermelon salad, 2 soups (tomato better than onion), and more. Don't miss it! and the botanical garden is FREE!

Alamanga is a local restaurant that offers a unique picnic style setting. We are a perfect place to share with the ones you love along with the best grill, Sangria, Roasting marshmellows and happiness.
PROS: My family brought me here for my b-day and I really enjoyed it. This isn't your typical Colombian restaurant. It's picnic style, so you sit on a blanket in a well-kept grassy area with an umbrella for shade. The food is chopped up and eaten with toothpicks. My two favorite items were the fried cheese and sausage. Had to order a second round of those.CONS: Sitting on the ground too long can get uncomfortable. And if there's no room for you under the shade, you could be in trouble on an extremely sunny day.Hello!, We really appreciate your review, we are glad to know that you had a good time and celebrated your birthday with us. We understand that, sometimes, spending a lot of time on a picnic cloth might get uncomfortable. As an alternative, we offer chairs near the picnic setting and we also have picnic-style tables in an indoor space. Thank you for letting us know why your experience was excellent and for making us notice some points that we can get better at.

We went there for our last meal on a 2 1/2 month trip in Brazil and Colombia. The rib eye steak we had was hands-down the best grilled meat of the trip! It was cooked to perfection and generously sized. Colombian cooking levels for beef vary a bit to the less-cooked side. For example, my husband likes medium-rare in the US, but in Colombia, that was almost always rare and barely warm in the center. So order one level higher if doneness than you would normally like, and you get what you expect. Not being familiar with Colombian names for cuts of meat, the waiter asked us if preferred thick or thin cuts and helped us select using that information. A basket of garlic bread was served before the meal came and the sangria we ordered was tasty. The meal came with a salad and a choice of one side dish. Good service and we would happily return!
