Stopped in for breakfast while driving thru Hampton Bays. Had the egg platter plate that was served with. Poco de gallo and salsa verde that was really delicious.

This place is a gem in Hampton Bays. Food and drink prices are reasonable for the outstanding quality of the food. The staff is so friendly too that you'll feel right at home even if you're an out-of-towner at a place the locals eat. Start with guacamole and a ceviche. Then order any number of traditional Costa Rican dishes like the Casado tica with steak or chicken. I ended a great meal with fried ice cream.

I used to be a big fan of Cabana restaurant - especially the one that was located on the Seaport in NYC - but the midtown location really has lost its standards. The ceviche we ordered was more like seafood salad and the steak was way too chewy. Very disappointed!
