We had a nice meal here. The portions are really big. It ws a bit dirty (floor not swept for A LONG time) but the service was good. They didn't have any goat when we were there, but the meat spaghetti was enormous and very tasty and the Cuban rice was good too.

I showed up on a Monday evening and there was only one other table in the restaurant the entire time I was there. My arroz con pato showed up a little too quickly after I ordered, suspect especially because I heard the dings of a microwave a minute or two beforehand. Flavor of the rice was great but both duck and rice were pretty dry (again, I suspect the microwave is the culprit). Tasty fried yucca with aji was brought beforehand, which was fried fresh and brought piping hot. Service was attentive but they could not accept credit cards after some embarrassment. I imagine the duck would be quite good on a day they made it fresh to order. This is disappointing given it was not a cheap meal for a dish that is found at cheaper restaurants as well.

I had two dinners and two breakfasts in this restaurant which is located in the Los Portales Hotel. I had mixed experiences. First, the breakfast were OK -- the standard, with eggs, fruits, juices, some meats and pancakes. The regular offerings in a business hotel. The dinners were however mixed to poor. The corn tamale appetizer was sweet and Ok, the ceviche entrée was fair, as it tasted "fishy" and was served not as chilled as I would have liked. The following day, the mushroom soup was excellent, while the arroz con pato was terrible!. Basically, a heap of non-flavorful green rice with a slab of thick duck breast, which was very tough to even cut. It was definitely reheated from the previous day. The desert was also not memorable. The restaurant to its credit did serve Peruvian wines by the glass. The service was average at best.Overall, the review score should be somewhere greater than a "two" but way less than a "three". Next time, I will go somewhere else for dinner.Dear guestThank you for taking time to leave your comments. I am really sorry about your bad experiences and I will take action on this.I will be pleased to know about you and I hope next time you can come to Chilcayo and contact me.Best regardsCynthia Del Aguila MacherGerente LP Los Portales hotel Chiclayo y restaurante Muchik

This place is on the expensive side and I would have enjoyed it better if we had had a better, more enjoyable table. I probably wouldn't go back, but only because there are other places that are more enjoyable for the same price.

I met up with a friend here and we lamented the state of craft beer in Peru in 2015. Because since then, it´s grown exponentially, and the country offers plentiful in the way of delicious beers. And Cuatro Once showcases a lot of them! The food was also great. Highly recommend the anticuchos de pulpo. The taquenos were tasty. But I can´t write more than a sentence before coming back to the selection of beers here -- Magdalena, Sierra Andina, Maddok, Invictus, and more.

My husband, a local, has been raving about this place since we met. The years of hype were all accurate. Cannata, a small cafe with counter and sit down service, served the best duck (pato assado) in Lambayeque! It's a place for a late breakfast or lunch, but you can stop in any time for a fabulous small sandwich snack with choice of pork, duck, beef or chicken and Cannata's signature Asian style sauces. But it was the duck that blew me away. Enjoy a coffee Peruvian style (cafe passado) or a cold drink with your snack and take a break from the heat in this clean cafe with AC near the town center.

Loche & Ajà is a Northern food restaurant, where we can find the most exquisite typical dishes. In addition to the best liquors.

I had dinner one night at Fiesta Groumet Chiclayo, where I learned just how wonderful duck chiclayana can be! If you are some who doesnât like fresh cilantro, donât try it; otherwise, OMG, what a delight! My entire meal was wonderful: I began with an amuse bouche featuring shredded duck on a bun. I then had an appetizer of skewered baby goat with onion and red pepper and OMG, that was tasty! And then the duck chiclayo, served with rice and vegetables â so deliciously memorable! As I savored these scrumptious dishes, I sipped red wine from Ica, and learned that Peru does, in fact, produce at least one worthy wine.Service was professional and attentive without being stiff, and the setting was modern and bright. The restaurant itself is in a section of town that seemed to me to be large deserted; donât let that put you off!
