Muy buena comida hecha a la leña, el lugar es bastante amplio y cuenta con baño. Los casados y el ceviche de camarones estaba muy bueno. La atencion es excelente.
We have been at this restaurant a number of times. The shrimp dishes are excellent. The breakfast with eggs/bacon/coffee was really good. This restaurant is half way down main street then south on a secondary road. Its a short 30 second walk from main street. I will add pictures when trip advisor adds this restaurant. It is not the other Parquecito restaurant noted in the listings this is a different one. This place always has picnic tables with blue table cloths. Very clean, friendly owner and always has excellent service and awesome meals. The prices are good here!

Whether it be lunch and cocktails on the beach or candlelit dinner by the koi fish pond, Banana Azul's motto for our restaurant is 'Fresh & Simple.' We strive to only use fresh ingredients and try to stay away from processed foods. We also offer vegetaria
Hubby and I enjoyed dinner, and a take-out lunch, at Banana Azul in July when we rented a house nearby on Playa Negra Beach (reviewed separately) and it was recommended by the owners. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, great food, friendly service, free wifi, and reasonable prices. It also had a (free) locked and fenced parking area. We had sandwiches for lunch and for dinner, I had lasagna and hubby had mahi mahi. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed our meals. We also enjoyed the soup and salad buffet at dinner. The total bill for dinner was about $50 and they accepted credit cards. The gardens are lovely and we returned during the day to walk through and enjoy the grounds more fully in the daylight. We enjoyed the koi pond that stretches the length of the dining area with its many fish and turtles. The garden had beautiful paths, plants, and trees. The beach area also looked beautiful, although we didnât relax there. We recommend dining at Banana Azul and will return when we visit Puerto Viejo in the future!*Thank you for reading my review! A little out of the way and hard to find, but definitely the best soda food around! I went in the early afternoon, and it was nice to relax out of the sun. Good food, good staff!

My wife and I have been coming to Cahuita for over twenty-five years and I can truly say that Ranchon Del Negro is the restaurant we will keep on going back to! If you want authentic Cahuita Cuisine, this is your place. Unlike some of the tourist traps in the town center, here you will mix with the locals and dine on exceptional homemade dishes that are exceptional in every way. The warm and friendly service only adds to the total ambience that makes Ranchon Del Negro your go to place while visiting Cahuita. Whether your just dropping by for a few cold drinks or getting ready to feast on local dishes cooked to perfection, you can't go wrong with Ranchon Del Negro!

Reviewed at this Costa Rican website. Food is insanely good:
Oh man! Out of this world food! We dealt with Coral Reef twice - once for our wedding rehearsal dinner and once for the reception. Both times it was spectacular. The food was unforgettable all of the guests lost it over their coconut sauce. For the rehearsal dinner we had grilled pork steak and chicken with cabbage slaw and tortillas. Build your own tacos for the night was amazing - totally recommend this option for catering! For the reception they brought dinner to the Magellan Hotel - we were served whole red snapper (OMG) or chicken with coconut sauce. It was so good, I ate left overs around midnight. There were also rice and beans and salad to accompany. I could not have asked for better food, better service, or a more responsible caterer. 5 stars! You guys rock!

After a long hot walk we stopped in on the recommendation from another couple at our hotel. We were cheerfully greeted in Spanish, English, French and Italian and had two ice cold cervesa as well as some outstanding veggie lasagna Really pretty setting just outside the National Park.
