Find out what South American restaurants to try in Arequipa. In Peru's second-most populous city, aka "The White City," stunning colonial buildings made of pearly sillar stone vie for attention with the surrounding volcanoes and snow-capped peaks of the western Andes. Founded in 1540, it's a smorgasbord of mansions and museums. The top attraction, 215,000-square-foot Santa Catalina Monastery, is like its own city within a city, complete with fountains and cobblestone streets. Arequipa is the favorite base for visiting Colca Canyon and its massive condors.

It would be easy to miss this restaurant as it is off the main street upstairs in the Claustros de la Compania but it is really worth a visit! The food was delicious and the ambience very relaxing and peaceful - a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Would definitely recommend! Agradezco por tomarse el tiempo para escribir un comentario muy agradable. !Saludos¡

Craft cheese and wood oven. We make organic quinoa pizza with andean cheese made in our own state. We open from Tuesday to Sunday in Plaza Campo Redondo - San Lázaro, an historical place in Arequipa - Perú.
Stumbled upon La QueserÃa for dinner last night and the pizza was amazing. We loved it so much we ordered a second pizza. Jimena was also so kind. She translated the whole menu for us and went above and beyond to make our dinner a memorable experience. Would highly recommend. Plus it had great music. Thank you for your opinion, we hope to see you soon

We were delighted with our food choices when visiting Zingaro, the food was wonderful, fresh and flavorsome. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The food is relatively inexpensive, however wine is very expensive. I was surprised to see one of the chefs using a spoon which he stores in his arm pocket to taste the food and then put it back in his pocket. I did not see him once clean the spoon even though he placed it in multiple dishes. This was a little off putting.

El Ekeko isnât a bad place to eat. The food is simple and tasty. It comes with friendly service and a clean, inviting atmosphere. It is, however, nothing special. Sort of like an Applebeeâs or generic chain destination in any city anywhere. If youâre looking for simple, convienen, and family friendly - El Ekeko is your place. Again, itâs not bad - itâs just not the kind of place that you long to go back over and over. SaludosEl Ekeko

Did a 2 hour cooking class with Arrhur himself, learning how to make ceviche and alpaca meat, and then being able to eat them after. Arthur was incredibly attentive and helpful, showing us various techniques and skills that we could take home. We also took home the receipes. The food itself was amazing!

Welcome to Burger Chulls, where you can find all the Artisan and Vegan Burgers that you can build your way and we also have drinks, Beers, coffee, natural infusions, we wait for you to enjoy the pleasure of eating your Burger Chulls !!
We really don't recommend this place. First, it seems not too expensive, but if you want what they call "toppings", you need to pay more. Pay more just for cheese or oignons in your burger. So basic in a good burger! After that, other basic : the French fries. Just not cooked. Raw. Please do something, even when we ask more cooked it was the same! We couldn't eat it, so frustrating and sad. Then, you can choose 2 sauces for the burger, why not. Finally it's 2 tiny pot of a casual industrial sauce. What a joke!Even if the waitress was really friendly, and the design pretty nice, they gonna have to learn the basics : how to cook fries, tell the real price, and for a real burger.Antoine, I'm very sorry for what happened to you! . We give the customer the freedom to create their own burger from a basic burger. You can choose the type of bread, meat, fries and 2 special sauces that we prepare at home, also we have 4 bottles of classic sauces on the table. Toppings are also of free choice and the price for each portion is shown on the menu. Our burgers and the breads are generously sized, handmade and carefully prepared as well, using fresh and very good quality ingredients. I'm very sad that the potatoes weren't of your liking, even though the staff prepared another portion to amend the mistake. I'll immediately meet with the kitchen staff to find out in depth what happened to prevent incidents like this from happening again. I repeat again how much I sorry that your experience with us hasn't been entirely of your liking.
