Recently, Lynn and I and a friend stopped for dinner at Fish House Vera Cruz after spending the day touring the nearby mountains. We each had the Pacific Rock Fish (Pacific Red Snapper) which included a salad and a vegetable ($21.50). We each had one nice filet of the fish which was grilled on an open fire. It was really good. Atmosphere is nautical with white tablecloths. Our server, Emily, did a good job. The menu is extensive and offers everything from appetizers to the finest seafood.

Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes creates an all-you-care-to-eat dining experience with a daily selection of made-from-scratch soups and salads and hand-crafted muffins, focaccia, breads and tasty desserts.
I've been coming to Souplanation for years. I've only been to the Vista location a couple of times including today. They've redesigned and changed their recipes recently. Plates and bowls are now ceramic, not plastic. Newer utensils that are heavyweight. New seasonal recipes as well. They did away with the mixer bowls at the salad buffet. There is always a coupon available (sign up for their newsletter) so I never pay full price. One coupon usually covers the entire dining party.Their famous clam chowder now has clams you can actually see and taste. I know it doesn't sound like a big deal but I used to call it potato chowder because you just couldn't see or taste any clams. Their pastas and other soups are pretty much the same. Their ranch dressing is still on point. If you have food allergies, they don't have a document to refer to but the staff was super helpful in showing me ingredients list for all food served. My sons have egg and nut allergies so that was really helpful. Just ask the manager when you're paying.Their muffins were on the dry side today. Usually, they're moist and fresh. They have blueberry muffins everyday and two other flavors are usually whatever is in season. Today was a lemon muffin and peach poppy seed muffin. Out of the three, the lemon one was more fresh. They have small little cones (in the dessert area) that I usually fill up with soft serve on my way out. They also have fruit and cottage cheese for those who want a healthier option for dessert. They have a vast variety of drinks available. If you buy a beverage, you get access to their cold and hot drinks. Just ask for a mug if you plan on enjoying a hot beverage.I love this place and I'm glad to see they're updating their menu for the better. The service at this location was super friendly. Dirty dishes weren't sitting at my table for very long.

From focusing on quality, clean ingredients to serving our food to you in a warm and welcoming environment, Panera Bread is committed to being an ally to our guests. That means crafting a menu of soups, salads and sandwiches that we are proud to feed our
We had an early lunch here on Sunday. There were 7 in our party including 2 children and my mother in law in a wheelchair. Luckily there were 2 tables for 4 I could push together as the only large table was already occupied. Other patrons helped me move chairs. it would have been nice for employees to help! The food at Panera Bread is always good but this particular restaurant needs more seating, especially seating that can be reconfigured easily for more than 4 people.

I didnt even care that much for Asian food but fiancée convinced me to try it once and I was I. Ediarely hooked on Pho Ever. this place is the bomb! Pho is delectable and owner is very nice and accommodating. Prices are reasonable and I have never had anything here I didn't like which is saying a lot for not being a fan of Asian food in general. Now I am a convert and eat here about every 3 weeks. Staff is very good and always make you feel welcome. Love their spring rolls, soups, chicken wings, calimari and everything else!

I recently met up with a friend over lunch and she suggested the Yellow Deli. We sat outside in a garden like atmosphere and enjoyed a great conversation over lunch made with very healthy ingredients. I had the wonderful veggie burger. I plan to introduce it to other friends. I am delighted to have discovered this quintessential California gem.
