When youâre hungry at anytime (24 hours, 365 days a year) Au Pied de Cochon is available to serve you.An upscale experience and truly a 5 star meal. My colleague and I were quickly seated and we began looking over the menu. We inquired about a wine list and a sommelier brought an iPad by with over 2200 wine varieties! We opted by the glass and they still offered over 200 vinos to choose from. My colleague chose a local red and I went with the Vino Blanco Gustave Lorentz Gewürztraminer Reserve, a delicious white. As we looked over the menu, the waiter brought by a complimentary plate of Pâté and an assorted bread basket with butter. My colleague ordered the Bavette skirt steak and I chose the 200 gram Filet Mignon accompanied with a bordelaise sauce, baked potato and bone marrow. The filet was very succulent and cooked medium to perfection. We both agreed we didnât have room for dessert but the waiter still brought a complimentary plate of goodies along with the check. A delicious French cuisine restaurant located inside the Presidente Intercontinental hotel in Mexico City.Thank you very much for visiting us and writing this review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay at Au Pied de Cochon.

We tried the red soup with seafood, fish ceviche, spaghetti seafood del mare, and terrific langostinos. Would do this all over again. Wonderful wait staff!
Best Mexican food near Tlalnepantla, Estado de Mexico, Mexico

We landed late on a Friday night and needed somewhere close and open late to satisfy our weary souls. This being our first meal in Mexico we thought it was great. Known for their al pastor, it was instantly better than any we had known before it. Juicy, earthy, sweet and delicious. We ended up ordering seconds, and maybe thirds. And though we would go on to even better ones, this was a great introduction into al pastor in Mexico City. The cactus was sweet, sour and smoky and the cheese chicharron was thin and crispy, both worth ordering. Some of the steak tacos were mediocre and only filled room that could have better been left to the al pastor. The service was friendly and extremely attentive. Very diverse crowd with a mix of tourist and locals grabbing a bite before calling it a night.
