Located on the quay in the village of Kinvara, breath taking views overlooking the bay and Dunguaire Castle. We cater for all tastes. Daily lunch menu served from 12, a la carte from 5. Large upstairs room overlooking bay can be used for private parties.
I had the catch of the day, fresh and with Bernice sauce. Melted in my mouth.. my wife had the fillet. Prompt service, tasty meals. Compliments to the chef an friendly wait staff. And the house wine with dinner was French and good..... would go back again to this scenic spot and restaurant...

This cafe is situated in a beautiful location 15K from Ballyvaghan. Lovely restaurant with great views of the surroundings. Large selection of cakes and tarts to choose from if you want an afternoon coffee. For the last two years we have had dinner there as part of a large cycling group. The staff kept the restaurant open for us and provide great food. Chef is top class, great home made soups, main courses are interesting and deilcious.Deserts are very berry good too. Would recommend for a quick stop or a full on meal.

Had dinner here on our last night. The roast of the day (ham) was great. The Crab croquettes not so good, lots of potato and not too much crab at all. Disappointing.Hi stephenbrg,Cheers for your review, delighted to hear you enjoyed the roast, it's always a popular choice. However, we're disappointed the croquettes we a little disappointing. We've passed on your feedback to our restaurant. hopefully we can welcome you back again. The Front Door Team.

Linnanes is a real gem , run by owners who are present all the time and who go the extra mile to really care for their business. It is terrific for seafood, has a great atmosphere and is reasonably priced. Well worth a trip and well done to owners and staff !

Had a delicious meal here. Portions were great, good price value, fresh fresh food. Sauces not too heavy, recommend roast chicken if they have it or the darn of salmon. Wine list is reasonably priced. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed, we waited about 30 minutes for our check, but food was prompt.Warm and inviting decor, beautiful patio if weather permits.

Traditional irish pub owned and run by the same family since 1876. Serving home cooked meals daily from march to november 1st. Groups catered for with reservations. Traditional irish music live every night all summer long. Come and join us!!
McGann's which has a higher rating than McDermott's was closed, so we went to McDermott's. We are glad we did! It was great! The atmosphere is pure Irish, the food was excellent, the beer cold and the staff friendly. I had the duck, which was maybe the best meal I've had in Ireland, and my wife had the prawns, which she also thought was outstanding. We sipped on a few beers until the entertainment started at 9:00. They were good as well and capped off a terrific evening.A very good spot!

Impromptu Midweek meal out, we were seated upstairs overlooking the bay. Glorious view!! Utterly delicious fresh prawns, hake and plaice with generous portion of homemade breads, chips, potatoes and vegetables on the side. Friendly subtle service throughout. Too full to do anything but look at the dessert menu. A great reason to come back again!

We are so glad we decided to have dinner at this cozy restaurant. We had been walking around Galway checking out our options and decided to eat here on the spur of the moment, and it was a great choice. The staff are friendly and attentive. I had a delicious tagine that the kitchen kindly accommodated my request to add chicken to. My husband had the lamb shank. We also shared a mezze board as a starter (which had excellent hummus and was a generous portion). We'd visit this restaurant again in a heartbeat!
