I visited this place twice- at the beginning of my stay and the last night. The first impression of the place was that it was overcroeded and this fact suggested good quality. The impression was changed by beef burger. It was tasteless and rather expensive. House wine could not improve the impression. The second time i ordered pork shin with polenta and sourcrout. I am sorry to say that it produced the same dull impression. So my conclusion says that this place is twice ower-owercrouded and owerpriced but under quality.

Very small restaurant in moena, typical products, quality and welcoming service. - Würstel - Soups - Cutting boards - Typical Sandwiches. 10% discount at dinner time.
Iâve been there with my wife. A beer, sandwich, signature dish plus water for 35 euros seemed a little too much and it didnât match the prices on the menu. Place is small but cozy.

I had a risotto with pine flavor, which really did taste like that, and a bone ham (stinco di maiale) -- very tender and an enormous portion. All dishes were elegantly and creatively presented. Service was quick, perhaps even too quick, prices are very reasonable. We enjoyed being out of the town center, although the location next to a camping is not particularly attractive.

We had grilled fish, which was very well prepared and elegantly served. The waiter offered to carve the fish for us, which we did not need, but appreciated. The service was rapid, even a bit rushed. Perhaps they planned on seating other guests after us. The dessert, tiramisù with mille-feuille, was a grandiose conclusion.

I was here with my family for New Year's Eve and we had a lovely time. Food was probably too much- we were stuffed at the end, but it was very nice! The menu was set, and it was not trivial at all. Very interesting flavours. The staff was very nice and the service good, considering that they had to serve all tables at the same time. The place is very pretty.

Another excellent dinner at this temple of the Val di Fassa gastronomy. Some of the creations by Paolo Donei in my opinion stand comparison with those of more famous multistarred chefs. The signature dish egg in polenta crust with truffle, cream of cheese and spinach, for example, behind its apparent simplicity hides much preparation work, uses great produce, and it embraces you with a memorable subtlety of flavours and textures.A primo of spatzle with herbs, girolles and a speck infusion summarises what this cuisine is about: strong, traditional flavours elevated to delicacies of high refinement and elegance. Two mains, a venison and a duck, both had at their core a fantastic, chunky, tender and perfectly cooked piece of meat, with clever and tasty garnishes around them: the braised red chicory giving moisture to the duck, with almond and smoked oil flavours; and the Jerusalem artichokes (coming in different ways) with a Pinot nero reduction. My only small reservation is just a tendency to saltiness, but this is personal taste. You can't skip desserts at Malga panna: a parfait was just good, but a 'cappuccino ice cream' with liquorice and milk was fun, creative, beautiful, deliciously balanced, hovering between the bitterness of the liquorice and the sweetness of the rest. You get so much more during a meal here, amuse bouche, breads, pre-dessert and petit fours. The prices are very, very fair such abundance and quality. The wine lover will also find satisfaction, gently guided by the always informative maitre Michele and the rest of his team. And the setting...well, that is magical (a little upholstering of all the benches would make it even more comfortable).I only manage to visit the Malga once a year, but every time I'm looking forward to returning.

Visited on business in June. After an epic trek up the mountain to find it, no signs and the trip advisor map location is about 1km out?! We were rewarded with fantastic views. We had no reservation but surprisingly the staff gave us a balcony table which provided the best view in the house! Sheepskin wraps provided if you get chilly! Authentic Italian food served by delightful ladies wearing traditional dress. Perfect English from our waitress, put our italian to shame. The home made pasta was perfect with delicious fresh breads. Fantastic desserts. Well worth seeking out, not a spare seat in the house by 8.30pm.

We went to this restaurant already three times in three different evenings and with different people and I have to say that the food and service was always excellent. The chef and perhaps owner in one person, Michelangelo knows his job very well. The service is also very nice, food quite original and creative, very tasty and it is in beautiful local settings. Very original view from the place near toilet straight to the stable with cows. Beautiful place and always great experience
