With breakfast being offered all day I order blueberry pancakes with bacon. The pancakes were filled with delicious blueberries but the bacon was way over cooked to the point it tasted like hard tack

There comes a point where the trade-offs, like "views of the harbor," don't cut it. Sandwich size? Unless you order one with thick bread, and maybe even then, are so lacking in filling you will have to go eat elsewhere immediately afterward. Ten bucks for a scrawny sandwich with a load of potato chips, and an, admittedly good pickle, is too high a price. Except on the second floor, (when it's open), there is no waitstaff. So, you place your order at the high-barrier food case, pay at the register, sit at a table, wait for your name to be called, and then go pick up your order. And then you get the overpriced, scrawny sandwich with all those potato chips which you'll be glad for because you won't get full on the sandwich, no matter how slowly you eat it. And don't think it makes a difference whether you order a lot, or a little. The laissez-faire attitude extends to all.Staff is generally not welcoming. That, too, has been forgiven long enough. When enough is enough, it's enough. No more. A sit-down meal at a full-service restaurant isn't going to set you back much more and you don't have to do most of the work yourself. Just get desserts and coffee. Great desserts at a very good price, at least the other week. Note: TA needs to change back to the $ sign for ratings for cost levels, because "cheap eats" it certainly isn't. Self serve and casual, it is.

Two amazing sisters run and operate this one of a kind local restaurant. Non touristy, but in the heart of the tourist Main Street. Unpretentious, amazing food and a seafood chowder that puts 5 stars to shame. Went back twice as the food and service was A-Mazing - fantastic lobster

I have come here for several years, mainly to have the "make your own salads," with your choice of greens, dressing, three ingredients added (for free), and extras (such as feta cheese). The price is reasonable, for all this, since the salads are large.I am pleased to report that the last salad I had (for about $12) was fine, without wet spinach being used (as happened once in the past). The one problem is that sometimes too much or too little dressing is used. There usually is adequate seating and free Wi-fi.And the coffee is pretty good.Produce can be quite expensive here in the grocery section. For example, avocados today were priced at $2.49 each (about double what they are in the local supermarket!).Service at the counter is efficient and friendly. Thanks for your continued patronage and support. We strive to provide the best locally sourced food and service and next time be sure to let our staff know how you like your salad. Happy to cater to your preferences on salad dressing or anything else to ensure you have a great experience. As a small market we canât always compete on price with the big box stores but we do try to support local farmers, producers and products. We hope to see you again soon!
