Nice little place with a fun atmosphere and seriously great soup and sandwiches. Something about the homey tomato decor strikes the perfect balance between kitsch and class. And the deli-style menu is top notch

Wish I had gotten the 1/2 sandwhich and soup combo as I suspect the soup would have been as good as the full size ruben I did have. Thick grilled bread (rather than thin rye) and loaded with corned beef, slaw and other goodies. Delicious. As I was waiting a professional lady who apparently was a regular commented that the food here was the best in Petoskey. Good endorsement. Apparently this deli and Murdocks fudge next door are owned by the same person. Employees were very personable.

Visited here per recommendation by relatives. Seated quickly and welcomed. Hours appeared to be erratic. Service friendly. Noticed they had two Wi Fi systems and asked for password only to be told flatly that the public is not given access since they did not want people dawdling. I suggested they might try offering Wi Fi and was told flatly that ânever happenâ and they didnât care. Food was very good. Prices average.
