Reviews on Soups food in Mystic, Connecticut, United States. Swab the decks, batten down the hatches and get ready to set sail for a weekend of adventure in Mystic, Connecticut's seaside city devoted to all things maritime. From the popular Mystic Seaport, a recreated 19th-century seafaring village, to the newly updated Mystic Aquarium, where you can mingle with beluga whales, seals and dolphins, there is something nautical at every turn. The Colonial period buildings of Olde Mystick Village offer a few tasty seafood restaurants, historical atmosphere and a multitude of unique gift shops. While most of Mystic's attractions have a marine theme, there are a couple of exceptions: landlubbers may want to check out the Mystic Art Association's galleries and studios, which showcase the work of local and regional artists. Or have a lunch at Mystic Pizza, the eatery made famous by the Julia Roberts movie of the same name. From restaurants with plenty of crayons and kid's menus to hotels with puppet shows and bedtime story hours, everything about Mystic is geared toward children, making it a fun and educational family getaway. And for adults, the nearby Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casino complexes are a sure bet for entertainment.

Chef Cobenaâs unique style blends perfectly with the traditions of New England fare. He intertwines exotic spices and peppers with the areaâs premier selection of seafood, poultry and beef. Relish in our premium selection of oysters spanning the eastern s
My brother and his wife were up from Florida so we decided to go to Stonington and Mystic for the day. For dinner we decided on S&P Oyster. Initially we had planned on Bravo Bravo but it is closed on Mondays which we found out when we got there. S&P was crowded so we thought that was a good sign. My brother and I had the filet which was excellent (both of us wanted the strip steak but non available and it was 5:30 p.m. NOT GOOD) but the fried palenta side dish was disappointing - the menu had said stuffed baked potato???? The fried palenta looked good but was was essentially bland. Our wives both had fish and they both were pleased. The servers ( 2 for our table) were attentive but seemed annoyed everytime we asked a question or needed something which wasn't at all often. Not sure if they were having a bad night or what. Final evaluation - excellent food but thumbs down on the wait staff. Next time it will be Bravo Bravo.Hi Stuart, thank for your review, we are delighted to hear you enjoyed your food. We do strive to deliver the highest quality in both food and service so we are sorry to hear that the waitstaff did not exceed your expectations. I do hope that you will allow us another opportunity to impress you, you wonât be disappointed.

We stopped in on a recommendation from Marlin at Broadway Auto and werenât disappointed. Nothing fancy, but we had a soup each and split a really good Reuben (panini style). Excellent, wonderful and tasty! The have salads too. Lots of parking and right behind Sea Swirl. We highly recommend the Mystic Soup Company!

Stopped to pick up a number of dinner items that we could eat over the next few days. Some of the entrees were quite good and others a disappointment. Would suggest chicken parmesian as a keeper. Other items would be geared to individual tastes.

We are Mystic residents and had passed this relatively new restaurant several times, so thought we would give it a try. Very pleasant experience. Food was good and the staff attentive, though it was not too busy when we were there. We will definitely return.
