Nice atmosphere. Serves vegan, vegetarian, organic Sicilian specialties.
Booked on the strength of the trip advisor reviews and wasn't disappointed. Such friendly service with excellent English and imaginative food. We tried three of the starters and the beetroot Arancino was the favourite but all were excellent. All very happy with our risotto and pasta courses. Just food done very well with imagination. Would highly recommend.

We had the pleasure to visit this nice restaurant on the 16th of August. If you want to have a real taste of Sicily as it also was decades ago, this is the place. Only simple, good, genuine traditional ingredients used to prepare traditional and exceptionally good plates. A special thank you from our small dachsung Filippo: he was a bit excited and became a bit noisy upon arrival so we had decided to leave the restaurant before ordering not to disturb the other guest. The owner reassured us telling us not to worry and opened another wing of the restaurant only for us! A gesture we will certainly never forget...thank you.

Recommended by hotel. Unassuming, smallish trattoria. What I would call rustic/ home cooked food. Locals eat there (including 6 big police boys with guns!), couples and families. It seems most dishes are freshly cooked and whilst personally adventurous I was steered to good choices - I had a reasonably big octopus in front of me at one point! Very limited English- you must go

Tired of walking through Centro Storico (separate review), we stopped here for lunch. Appetizers were of endless variety, all yummy and plentiful. Salads were fresh and featuring the omnipresent sweet cherry tomatoes of Sicily accompanied by excellent quality EVOO and good bread. The house red, a Nero d'Avola, was surprising pleasant (I'm not a Nero d'Avola fan) and afordable.
