My wife and I ordered veal scallopini in marsala sauce.I ordered boiled potatoes as a side dish, my wife grilled vegetables. While waiting we had some grissini bread sticks. After a while the waiter placed a plate of sliced boiled potatoes in front of meand a plate of microwaved spinach in front of my wife. Both plates were cold and the food was barely warm.I queried whether we were expected to eat these as starters and the waiter said the veal was coming. Several minutes later he appeared with two larger plates of veal. The plates were, again, cold. There were four thin slices of veal on each plate. The veal was tough and gristly, despite being wafer thin.Still hungry I tried the obligatory coperta bread. It was so stale it crumbled into powder when broken.I told the waiter of our disappointment and that the bread sticks were the best part of the meal. Sadly his English wasn't good, however he got the gist and, after several attempts to convince us the chef was top quality he eventually removed the wine and water from the bill.Dear Sir, thank you for your review. Besides the food was so poor that you ate everything. The discount is not reached, the review did. Fortunately, other users can see as well, for a person like you, there are 100 who think differently. A hug from the Brenta Riviera.

Very noisy tasteless ambience, chaotic and hectic service, average food when once it was considered one of the most renowned seafood restaurant in the area.

Love the ambiance of this typical Italian place by the lagoon. Seafood is their specialty and everything was delicious. The seafood was a fresh as it can be and is from the local lagoon caught daily. The staff was extremely nice although they did forget to bring out one of our courses but we had so much food at that point it didn't matter. We went at night but will be going back for lunch so we can enjoy the view of the lagoon. FYI: This is local seafood not fried American stuff so think octopus, cuttlefish, branzino, tiny shrimp you eat whole with the skin still on etc. The food is great but some of the textural and visual aspects may not be what you are used to.

Love this restaurant! Food, wine and price!Small restaurant, you need to make a reservation, because they will buy fish based on the number of people! The restaurateur will decide and bring for you several appetizer dishes, one better than the other! Afterward you can choose between spaghetti, grigliata or frittura mista! Closing with a sgroppino or an espresso! Price 33 euro!Highly recommend ! 30 minutes drive from Venice, but worth it and afterward you can always visit the Villas on the Brenta river!

This one is near to perfect. In December we had the weeding lunch of my best Italian friend there, but we did eat there several times and always very good food. Variations of Venetian food in modern stile combined with an amzing collection of wine.Friendly people always trying to find a nice table for you.

Went here on the advice of our hotel and we were not disappointed. You are told straight away at he restaurant only seves fish. Had a couple of glasses of excellent prosecco before a lovely crab starter. We had the selection of grilled and fried fish between us and all was very fresh and cooked very well. Didn't have dessert as quite full with the first 2 courses and the lovely bread on the table. Returned 2 weeks later and had a similarly good meal so not a one off!

My wife and I drove here from nearby Padova to celebrate her birthday. It was our first time, and we were not disappointed. The Slovenian Malvasia we drank paired excellently with the very fresh seafood, and the staff was super attentive. The sociable owner Hedi (Eddy) greeted us tableside and asked if we'd like to start with appetizers, which we heartily agreed to. Thus began a nice sequence of small plates that included soft polenta with moscardini (little octopus), followed by an array of traditional boiled, local shellfish, and sfogio in saor (sweet 'n sour flounder). Next came three small servings of pasta: ghochetti with porcini and ventresca, risotto alla pescatora, and spaghetti with bottarga di muggine and vongole (clams). By that point we were full, so we skipped main courses and dessert, which we would have liked to have tried. Next time we come we now know that we should assert our preferences ahead of time so that we might have had fewer starter and first course plates to leave room for a local main dish and dessert.

Decoration à la grandmother. Cosy and relaxed. Run by some vivid and caring witches. Very charming atmosphere. Food merits 3.75 points.
