Incredible matza ball soup! My husband and I donâtCleveland much but Jackâs is always a stop. Fresh, crisp pickles are fantastic! Not too garlicky- just right. Like crunching on a fresh cucumber. And that soup! Jewish penicillin as my mother used to say.

If you like delis, this is your place. The menu is full of traditional jewish dishes, from brisket to cold cuts to borscht and matzah ball soup. Think of what you would find in a traditional ny deli, and this is better. Loved the wording on the menu, and the way the staff talks about the food. We had the hot dogs, brisket, pastrami, burger, blinzes and eclair. Portions are big, so be ready. If you like delis, this is worth going out of your way for.... Definately will be back.
Where to eat American food in Mayfield Heights: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Different from the typical Indian food that is either North Indian or South Indian. Special flavors that tantalize the tongue. If you are not used to spicy food, ask for the American mild version. Biriyani is the house specialty. They only make three batches per day of each type and when the batch runs out, one can no longer order that biriyani because it is time consuming to make. We were lucky to get the last plate of goat biriyani for the night. Unique Indian deserts such Khubani ka meetha. Food portions are large and one dish can feed two people. Great service and decor. The restaurant is fairly small and so, it gets filled very quickly and there can be a wait. Lunch is served buffet style.

If you've been to a Panera, you know the drill -- baked goods (breakfast treats as well as cookies and loaves of bread) and a nice array of salads, soups and sandwiches. This Panera is located near the Progressive Insurance campus right off I-271 in the eastern suburbs of downtown Cleveland. The parking lot often looks full, but I've never been there and spent an inordinate amount of time waiting for my order. Nice fireplace is a real bonus in cold weather... as is the soup!
