The staff were so friendly and welcoming and were apologetic about their English however it's a lot better than our Italian! It had the feeling of a family run restaurant.The service was excellent, the food was delicious and really well priced. If anything we were expecting to pay more.You must try the antipasto misto di mare as you get 5 different starters for 20 euros...each one delicious!

Previously known as la Foce this restaurant has been recently taken over by new owners.We went to on a Friday night with our Italian friends who live in Marina and the food was excellent.We had the special seafood menu which included 2 pasta starter dishes, fried mixed fish ,wine,water and cafe all for 15 euros a head.We didnt have room for desert.

Traveling solo , I have been indulging myself in Beth Elon's A culinary Traveller in Tuscany. I planned to eat here before I picked up friends from Pisa airport, only 15minutes away. The service from Mario (the big name in restaurant welcomes ) and Tanya was amazing , it was like they had been waiting for me to arrive, when I showed them my Elon book it was like a passport to the kitchen of his brother Dino , with book signing and photos done , I was well on the ride, I wasn't even offered a menu, mini plates of sample continued to flow from the maestro ,each more magnificent than the last , the seafood insalata was bliss. Whilst there were only three other tables of people we were treated like special guests -each table kindly assisting in my woeful Italian . If I could have I would have spend all day there.
