Cold as ice outside. Breathtaking view. Good food in large portions. Waiters very friendly and service oriented. We' ll deffinitely eat here again as soon as we get up on the glacier.

This restaurant bar is situated right next to the lift so it's very convenient once you've finished a run and fancy a break. The first time we tried it, we had a great pizza, sat outside in the sunshine and although the service and coffee weren't great, the outdoors mood and food made up for it.Sadly, our second trip for lunch was worse - the pizza was still great however, the coffee and desserts were awful (we tried the traditional Austrian shredded pancakes) but what made our experience really dire, was the service. The waiter just couldn't be bothered to come over despite us trying several times to catch his attention - when he did arrive, he was grumpy and monosyllabic and I've no idea if he could / couldn't speak English but he had difficulty in taking our order, even though we were pointing things out on the menu.Trying to order dessert became comical because again, he really didn't seem keen to serve us (or anyone else for that matter, he was consistently rude!) so overall, we were glad to finish up and definitely wouldn't return.

This has to be the worst buffet restaurant in the whole Spa world! The food is extremely poor, to the point that I visited this restaurant (hoping to have a better impression every time) everyday for one entire week, as we were using the Tauern Spa everyday till late, and the 3 soups that I found on the first day were still there on the last day of my week - and please note well I am not talking about them serving the same type of soup everyday, but actually presenting the same bowl of the same soup for week, not even bothering, as the soup level went down, to change the container in order not to show the dirty lines of the level of the soup that was reached everyday. Disgusting and totally unacceptable from an Hygen point of view! The rest of the food was pretty much in line with this....stale salad and stews and mashed potatoes with funny looking liquids on top.The staff constantly look like they want to be somewhere else and the prices are expencive, especially for drinks.Terrible!
