Find out what Soups restaurants to try in Hurghada. Stunning coral reefs and turquoise waters perfect for windsurfing have made Hurghada, on Egypt's Red Sea Coast, a busy resort town. Within easy reach of the stunning Giftun Islands and the Eastern Arabian Desert, Hurghada has seen enormous amounts of development in the past decade—and yes, it does seem overrun with tourists at times. But it’s a relatively easy beach escape for Europeans, and some of the world's best diving and snorkeling sites are just offshore. Walk or catch a cab to explore the old quarter, El Dahar.

English Tea Room & Cat Cafe. Enjoy a fine cup of tea or coffee, home made cakes and biscuits and at the same time cuddle with our feline family. Breakfast, lunch & afternoon tea on offer. Outdoor seating for smokers.
OK, Iâm biased: a friend of mine runs this place but: to be honest, once youâve entered the cafe, you could be in any little English town, Durham, Mansfield, Keswick, Mousehole, the staff and clientele are polite and friendly, the cats are calm, funny, relaxed. And thatâs impressive because theyâre all street cats that are looked after and hopefully find âforever homesâ from amongst the customers. You can relax in the Cuddle Corner with one of the feline denizens or work in the Craft Corner with some of the humans. The food is excellent, home cooked and tasty. There is a range of teas, coffees and soft drinks - try the fresh lemon, itâs great on a hot day - but whatever you do, donât leave without trying the carrot cake: delicious! The customers are a mix of locals, ex-pats and visitors and thereâs always an interesting conversation to be had or you can relax in the shade.I wish Iâd found the place earlier in my stay, but now Iâve been, it shall become a regular haunt.I thoroughly recommend this tea room and shall certainly be back. Thanks for your review - hope to see you very soon

I went to Starfish restaurant recently with an Egyptian friend. She is a regular and always has the fish soup and then a baked fish. I was amazed how many side dishes appeared. Everything I tried was great and I would recommend Starfish to any fish lover. I have seen a comment that it was expensive but I totally disagree. It was great value for money and I will be back there before I go home

After asking around, alm the locals agreed that this is the best place for a fresh seafood meal... and they did not disappoint us... the place is simple, always crowded... we had grilled fish with garlic and olive oil, prawns, calamari, french fries, salads, prawn soup, a jar of lemonade (which is highly recommended and super fresh)... everything was served to perfection... the staff is as expected in such a crowded place but will do their very best to please...

I had the chance to go in El Mina some hours ago. First of all I have to write about Mohamed Ali, the very friendly and with smile waiter that served us real seafood dishes.Truly the dishes were great and we were overloaded with Salads with a lot of shrimp Calamari, Crab and fish. Also the seafood rice and rice with Shrimp and Calamari were great. Definitely a place that you should visit while you are in Hurghada if you want fair prices and tasty food.
