New to the area and looking for some delicious sushi, we came upon Kung Foo Noodle in Birkdale Village-Huntersville, NC. It was absolutely delicious! Their menu includes (to name a few) unique sushi offerings, Poke Bowls, fried rice and noodle dishes, as well as some unique small plates and soups. The service was wonderful, from the host, to the waitresses the would check on us, and the sushi chef! It was a crowded (in a good way) Saturday night and we snagged a spot at the sushi bar, which offered an a birds eye view of their incredible sushi chef making beautiful sushi rolls and poke bowls. We ordered two rolls, the Volcano, and the 1000 Likes (It was the best roll we have every had, hands down) The roll had fresh salmon and Tuna Poke on top...get it! We also ordered the Pad Thai, which was tasty! Great portion sizes, and great quality of ingredients. Highly, Highly recommend. This is our new favorite spot!

We have eaten here one many occasions, mostly for lunch. My friend always gets the Pho, and I normally get the garlic chicken. Both are great. The service can be a bit slow at lunch, even if there are few customers. I always have to ask for salt and pepper, as they are not on the tables. They refuse to serve or even sell an onion pancake , a la carte. I don't understand. You can get it as an option with the meal but not by itself or an extra one , if you have already ordered one as part of a meal... Also I find it interesting if you have leftovers, and need a to go container, they add .50 cent to you bill for each container. I have never ordered a whole meal for a group to go , but I find it interesting that that charge is not already included in the cost of the meal...

Been awhile since we had dined here. I've only dined here once before but this used to be one of my wife;s favorites for Soup before went on a Weight Watches Program. Now she checks out the menu first before we go out and plan her meal according.Fortunately one of her favorites, the Chicken Noodle Soup, got a very good rating.Walked in at 1:15 pm and they were making it. She asked two more times before we left at 2::00 pm and they were always "making it"She also ordered a Smoked Turkey Sandwich that came out in a bowl. She asked what it was and was informed she had ordered a Sandwich without Bread which was not the case. Back to the kitchen and they finally got it right.I'm a fan of the Cuban Sandwich so I ordered a Cuban Panini. Granted a standard ingredient is a Cuban is pickles but this one was so loaded with pickles that was all you could taste and when you picked it up, pickle juice just came running out. Very messy. In other words, we were not impresses by service and accuracy.Generally a nice restaurant but crowded today and a bit noisy. Not impressed with this visit.
