Fresher's Cafe is the first & friendliest cafe in Ambleside. We serve excellent coffee, teas, cold drinks, light bites & homemade cakes. Feel free to eat-in or take-away - If you choose to stay we have both indoor & outdoor seating. If the weather is nice
Having just walked from Chapel Stile this was the first cafe my husband and I âstumbledâ on by chance. We were able to sit outside and enjoyed a memorable lunch consisting of excellent service, marvellous quiche, delicious cake and lovely coffees. We will return.

We open our doors at 10am and serve homemade food. We stop serving savoury hot food at 3.30pm to allow us time to prep for the following day. We do still serve teas, coffees and cakes until 4.00pm. Please do come and visit and fill your hungry tummies!
Popped in for a drink and cake which was excellent, loose leaf tea and decent coffee and a brownie to die for, all the food looked great and dog friendly too. Would definitely recommend and return.

Just had our Brunch here at daisyâs cafe. The place was packed but we got served quickly and the wait for the food didnt took long We had a large breakfast and tuna n cheese jacket potato. The breakfast was great, cooked well and not too greasy. The jacket potato was cooked perfectly and the salad was well dressed. Overall a good place to stop for tea and coffee or a quick bite.

We stopped by here while visiting the Coniston area. The cafe had a large and interesting menu, good pricing and more than enough choices for everyone. They even offer to make to order anything that isn't on their menu. The cafe was cosy, warm and welcoming. The staff were only to happy to help and offer advice on where to visit while in Coniston...there is more to Coniston than the exploits of Donald Campbell and his sad demise in Bluebird.
