Fort Pierce is a city in and the county seat of St. Lucie County, Florida, United States. It is also known as the Sunrise City, sister to San Francisco, California, the Sunset City. The population was 41,590 at the 2010 census. As of 2012, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau was 42,645. It was named after the Fort Pierce Army post which was built nearby in 1838 during the Second Seminole War. The military post had been named for Benjamin Kendrick Pierce, a career United States Army officer and the brother of President Franklin Pierce.

12aâs treatment of locals is horrible. This is the 2nd time this year of being treated or overlooked by this establishment. The first was in April for a wedding anniversary and the 2nd was today to celebrate our daughterâs birthday We told to pick anywhere she wanted to go and she chose 12 a, but once again 12a buoy failed. We had been waiting 1 hr 45 minutes and had several people that came after us seated before us, so I inquired. The hostess stated they were so busy that they put a hold on seating people due tdue to the kitchen being backed up, however they kept seating people. When I called BS, she then stars they did not have a table available I showed her the vacant cleared table that had been sitting there fvacnt for 15 minutes. She said I can let you speak with the manager, in which I said please. As I was talking to the manager they sat someone at the vacant table. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Especially locals they apparently could give a crap about those who keep them afloat during the off season.

Decided to try S&S based on trip advisor reviews. The food exceeded my expectations. While this is a take out....the food was great. It was off the main drag but definitely worth looking for. Loved that everything is freshly made with fresh ingredients. Staff is professional, courteous and friendly. Fast service. Leave room for dessert. Chocolate covered strawberries were delicious.

Breakfast or lunch this is the place to go. Friendly service, great atmosphere but absolutely amazing food? Come hungry, you will be happy you did. Eggs Benedict, French toast, steak and cheese!!! I havenât had an average meal there yet, everything has exceeded expectations.

I eat here frequently, food is always excellent. They are only open till 3pm. I understand breakfast is outstanding. I know lunches are. Service great always friendly. Small town atmosphere. There is a place to eat outside if you want.
