This restaurant has been many years in the town. Despite the number of customers declining since they opened, the quality remains the same. I believe that the decrease is due to the current economic situation and that it is not anymore a "new" restaurant. What I mean with this is that people are not telling anymore "let´s go and try it" as they have been there already. I have the feeling that they could increase the number of customers they get if they changed their menu, as they have mostly been offering the same meal options all the time they've been open. The fixed menu has 4 courses with a very competitive price. As starters, there are 2 salads or juice. The next course consist in 2 different soups or gazpacho.. While The main course is the third on the list, but trust me, you will be quite satisfied before having it.. To end, you will have quite large variety to choose the dessert. This time I chose a salad, gazpacho, veggie stuffed peppers with spicy sauce and corn custard (those are awesome...)It is one of the best rooms to enjoy a dinner in that I can think of.

Located around the corner from the Gran Domine, we decided to give this fish restaurant a try after reading the positive reviews on TA. It was absolutely wonderful, from start to finish â fish soup, cod fish carpaccio, king fish and a delicious, local white wine. Itâs not inexpensive and you better like seafood, if you do, this place this place is for you. Amazing food, beautiful ambiance, warm/friendly service. We hope to return one day in the future.

We are a Basque food restaurant in Abando, Bilbao. Come and enjoy our delicious traditional meals! We will make you feel at home. Reservations starting at 10 am.
What can I say about this incredible, sweet and humble place... my partner had booked in advance, for 2pm, itâs a restaurant tucked into the side with other shops, if you not know or see it careful you could miss it!!Trueba is where you eat with the locals who know their food! (You have been warned!!)You must know your food too, speaking Spanish helps a bit too! Dress well, enjoy your food and life here and you can see why the Basque Country and itâs people enjoy and are passionate about their food, culture and want people to know and understand why! Itâs recommended to book in advance, DO NOT just turn up!!! Our host Ramona was a lovely and sweet woman with her team - service, food and knowledge of the food which is traditionally Basque food - cooked to perfection. Apologies for lack of photos, reason? Itâs a place you want to share and remember in your memories, if you want to ask me questions about the dining experience, please do.. itâs also a place to meet and talk to locals, as we did .. highly highly recommended Thank you very much for your wonderful opinion, we are glad you enjoyed the experience. We hope you had a great stay in Bilbao. Greetings from the team!
