We got take out - the serving was huge and it was one of the best Pho I have ever had. It comes in a large deli takeout container with a bag of goodies (mint, lime, sprouts, spices, etc) that you can mix in as desired. We got the mixed (beef and shrimp).

I was surprised by how large this restaurant is, and that it's been in existence for 25 years, then I had a lobster and understood why it's so large. Especially note worthing is the honey bread served before the meal. Our server Kayla recommended that we save room, it was delicious. We ordered fried calamari for an appetizer for the two of us, I would recommend reserving the calamari for groups of four or more as it is large The coleslaw and lobster were delicious. But the fries seemed greasy.

Iâve been to Vietnam which just confirmed my love of Vietnamese food. We had pho and bun. Both were very good renditions. Took a LONG time for the Pho. I had jackfruit smoothie which was very good. The price however was a surprise for East Hartford. More expensive than the same dishes in our area of So Fairfield county and even NYC. So if cost is irrelevant then stop by the foodâs good.

Blustery mid March afternoon, day before spring arrives, and I'm in my winter coat zipped up to my chins, ear muffs on, gloves on and wondering why I don't quit my job and buy a one way ticket to Hawaii. Then, it hits me, oh yeah, I'm dead broke and have no future. I wanted a simple soup from Au Bon... but could not find it, and instead found this lil place. Really chill vibe inside and great, friendly service. I got the butternut and apple soup, one size at 4.25..not bad. Never tasted apple with butternut squash and it was yummy. Great if you work downtown and need a quick sandy or soup. Across from Cityplace.
