We enjoyed in this nice restaurant great fish, very originally prepared and presented. From the bread to the end of the meal all was of high quality, fresh and well made. I only regret the hosts have an obvious bias towards regulars and we, as tourists, didn't at all feel welcomed or treated the same way. Pity, it would have been great otherwise.

In our restaurant we cook only what our sea offers. We are the chefs and all dishes are freshly prepared.Fresh fish is expensive, so please check the prices and judge the overall quality as we bring the fish directly to your table. The menu that we propose
If you are looking for a fish restuarant to have lunch or dinner straight on the beach , with the nicest staff , with only local fish , caught by the owner himeself , who will advise you on the fresh catch of the morning , how to best cook it and with which best wine to flavour your meal ...well.... you found it ...but dont tell too many people .

We saw this restaurant mentioned in the Michelin Guide and booked it for our last dinner in Italy, before returning home. We had seen some rave reviews and some negative reviews on TA, but we decided to give it a try. We called and booked a table and when we arrived we realised the restaurant was fully booked - this was a Saturday night. We were warmly welcomed. I think some reviewers criticised the restaurant for being old fashioned. We found it welcoming and pleasant in decor (all seating was inside). We received friendly, helpful and enthusiastic advice on food and wine choices. Hubby and I were recommended the mixed seafood hors d'ouevres for a starter and also recommended that we should not order primi and secondi after this, as we might be full. This was great advice! The mixed seafood hors d'ouevres was in fact four plates of food, which came one after the other and they were all delicious. The prawns with peaches were interesting and delicious, but I think my favourite was the grilled cuttlefish, charred and savoury and very more-ish. Our children shared a 'terra' platter of cured meats with melon, which was also very nice. We all had a pasta dish after this: the children shared spaghetti with tomato sauce, which was simple, fresh and delicious; hubby had gnochetti with seafood, which was excellent, and I had spaghetti with mixed seafood which was also excellent - the seafood was in a rich and almost creamy sauce, beautifully cooked. I was glad I didn't order a further course!I managed a sorbet after this and in fact I tried all three of the homemade sorbets and they were all delicious. I could not fault the food, nor the enthusiastic and friendly service. I am not sure if this was 'old fashioned' cooking, or service, or anything, but I would gladly return to enjoy more of the same. We had a fabulous last night meal.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Restaurant il Fiore. It's a family run restaurant not far from Cecina and the staff were polite and welcoming. The Restaurant itself is a bit dated but the food we ordered was great. My husband ordered mussels as a starter. I ordered the frittura mista which was amazing and my hubby had the Gamberoni (king prawns) with pears which tasted excellent, we had never tried it before and we loved the contrast of flavours. For dessert we ordered the Cialda with yoghurt and berries. Everything was perfect and we spent about 50 euros including a bottle of Prosecco. We definitely recommend it!

We went last night after a struggle to decide from all the information or maybe misinformation available on the internet. There was à la carte or a choice of fixed-price menus. For 25â¬, a choice of four 'primo' dishes, four 'secondo' + 'contorno' side dishes and a dessert. We decided to have two menus at 25â¬, I chose a 30⬠wine for which the owner suggested we might prefer a 16⬠just as nice.Everything was very good, not wow factor, but v acceptable. Service exemplary, ambience v good, not many diners as still off-season and this is a hotel-resto, always less crowded.Bill was 50 + 16 + 6 for service and a litre San Pellegrino. Hard to beat.Dear Sir and Madam ,Thank you so much for your kind revew! We hope you had spend a nice holiday in Marina di Cecina and a Good Dinner according your expectations .Truly regards from all the Sileoni Staff. Yours Truly Hotel Sileoni Cecina Mare Cordiali salutiMassimiliano
