A2Z Café is a restaurant that provides quality kicked up comfort food at a decent price. Our menu consists of classic American fare as well as some not-so-classic...check out our Hawaiian offerings and Spam! Our dishes are from scratch, almost a lost art
The food and service in this small restaurant has quite the following due to its tasty and substantial portions along with its very friendly staff. Their breakfast menu includes several Hawaiian Island variations on a typical breakfast menu i.e Aloha Eggs Benny (Benedict). Though our wait when arriving around 11:15 am was close to 20 minutes, it was worth the wait. Ray or server was pleasant and professional.Hello! Thanks so much for taking the time to write a great review for A2Z on Trip Advisor. Yes, we are small (56 seats currently) but we hope to add to our space soon! Being a little Mom & Pop may actually help us grow the following that we have been fortunate enough to enjoy the last 5 years. That and great food and servers!! I have passed on your compliments to our Kitchen staff and also your server, Ray. We hope to see you again â¤ï¸a2Z Café

Two words - tenderloin sandwich!!The tenderloin is an Indiana tradition - I have tried several in several cities - but the one I enjoyed recently (see photo) at Dooley O'Toole's in Carmel - was OFF THE CHARTS!Seriously - as a kid - I recall clearly our whole family of 4 sharing cuts of meat this big for supper - when the sandwich came out of the kitchen - my jaw dropped.. good thing - I had to open WIDE to enjoy this monster of a sandwich! Not only was the tenderloin HUGE - it was crispy and tasty... if you try this restaurant - get this sandwich - if you want to try an Indiana pork tenderloin - try Dooley O'Toole's ..Otherwise - my impression of and experience in Dooley's was average/unremarkable quite frankly - service from Nicole was great! but other than that and the tenderloin.. yawn...Beer - disappointing - I tried 2 drafts - both kind of flat and old - one Sam Adam's seasonal winter brew was OK - a Speedway IPA I tried tasted more like a flat Bud Light - yuck!Fries with this sandwich were obviously food service product frozen - but well cooked..Atmosphere - lots of older folks - felt like an Applebee's from the 80's - Muzak and cheap Christmas lights and generic "Flair" knick-knacks abound - (think Jennifer Aniston's employer in 'Office Space')So - go here for the tenderloin sandwich - that is for sure what really set "DOT's" apart in my humble opinion..

Was in town on a business trip and the locals raved about the chicken-potpie soup (CPP) so of course we had to try it. They feature about a dozen hearty soups which change and a few signature soups like the CPP or if soup is not your thing the salads are also awesome. Quick courteous service with a slightly higher tab, but concidering the taste and satisfaction - it's a must for the comfort food crowd. Take a look at the pics - which doesn't do justice to the CPP!Thank you for your recent visit and review, Elizabeth. We're glad you enjoyed the Zoup! experience and became a fan of our chicken pot pie soup! We appreciate you taking the time to help spread the word about us and what you liked about your visit. We hope to see you again soon.
