Had dinner with the whole family. Meat was local, very good (and we had a varied selection: pork ribs, kebab, duck, chicken breast), with average wine and side orders. For a family it’s a very good option. You will not leave hungry after the famous Romanian desert, which name I forgot :-(Bear in mind: They DO have a band, 3 singers with an organ, so it’s very LOUD. If you sit inside, you will only be able to talk to your neighbor.

It s a bit of exercise to reach this restaurant especially during the winter and mostly if you are not going skiing. However the food you find there deserves any effort! Probably this is the reason why they have very high prices, about 170-180% higher than in the city of Sinaia. So the menu is mainly Romanian traditional, the food is very tasty, portions are not small but not really big, the service was very quick, friendly and kind. I understood that the food is so tasty because the owners have their own farm and they do not buy the meat from supermarkets, but its from their own porks, sheep, chickens and cows.

The location is really good. The atmosphere is really nice downstairs, i.e. the lights, decorations and music, however it is a bit spoiled by how stressed and rushed staff seems. Our waitress was efficient in getting our requirements done, but she had a rather negative attitude towards requests. The soups in bread were nice, but there is room for improvement.
