Founded in 1954, Quitoâs started as a local fish market. Later, a few tables were added and family recipes were relied on for the basic fare. As itâs popularity grew so did the dining room. Today, there is a cozy indoor dining area with a fireplace and du
Right on the water in Bristol. Nice views from the outdoor patio (but reliable seating inside). A relatively expansive menu but I always have the whole belly fried clams which are excellent. Popular with locals which is always a good sign

The setting, the view, that's all terrific. The food was very good, not great. A couple of things left me less than excited as this was my first visit there. First, we were offered a table "on the covered terrace". The fact that it was immediately next to the bar as well as a table of ten was not mentioned. It was very noisy. Yes, I and the rest of our party are no longer young and therefore find the noise level more objectionable than we would have many years ago. However, the lovely young lady at the reception podium should have, I believe, been conscious of those factors. Anyhow, we survived and I was having images of a nice baked two pound lobster like the one we get at Bay Point in Quincy --- also with a nice water setting. BUT, when I asked about it I found out the lobster was a 1 1/4 pounder I lost interest. I think they call them chicken lobsters, but whatever it is called I would call that size totally inadequate. Oh, and the very nice hot rolls didn't reach us until almost when our dinners came out. So, pluses and minuses, but I doubt that I would take the hours ride it was for us again.Hi Murray300,Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear your visit did not exceed expectations. We wish we were made aware of the noise level at your table and would have done everything we could to relocate you to a quieter part of the restaurant. Our baked stuffed lobster is one of our most popular dishes and we hope you will join us again in the future and give it a try. I'm confident you will not be disappointed. We were hear on a Sunday afternoon and had lobster rolls and sharing some friend clams. The lobster rolls came either with butter or mayo. Our group had both and each like the way the mayo was light and butter was presented on the side. The whole belly clams were hot and flavorful. There were plenty of tables as well as parking, even if you have to go around the corner from where the tables are located next to the water. Unfortunately, there are only port o potties at the location.Hi Kim. Thank you for leaving this review. Glad to hear you enjoyed your lobster rolls and whole belly clams. Its what we are known for! Hope to see you again soon.

Nice location near the waterfront. Really crowded on a weekday night, with long waits. Seems to be a well established local favorite. However, I ordered the mahi-mahi dish with mango sauce. The fish was HARD, overcooked by a seafood restaurant. Shame. I didn't want to wait another 30-45 minutes for another entree but the manager took it off the bill.I would have preferred to have the fish cooked properly and have paid the bill.Service otherwise was good and views are gorgeous. Thank you for dining at Iggy's Boardwalk. We apologize for your overcooked Mahi. We take pride in providing our customers with quality food and service. Unfortunately, mistakes are sometimes made, but we appreciate your understanding and hope this won't deter you from returning in the future.
