SUCH a great find! We came here thanks to a Google search. My goodness, EVERYTHING here is made from scratch and it shows! Staff is great, the owner Sherry is wonderful. Confident and proud of this restaurant, which has been in her family for decades.Fantastic place. Stop here if you're in the area. If you're not nearby, GET nearby and go here. You're welcome.Thank you Mike for the 5 star rating and your really thoughtful review! Being in business for 71 years making all homemade meals with fresh locally sourced ingredients and an owner who's passionate kind and generous makes Lindsey's the restaurant it is. Traditional favorites share the menu with contemporary cuisine. Lovely dining rooms offer a choice of settings; candle-lit rooms, fireside dining in the Music Room or garden side dining in the sun or moonlit Conservatory combine with outstanding service a
We went on a Friday night and we had made a reservation. We arrived and were seated very quickly, in the tavern, as we had our 2 children with us. We hadn't dined here before, so we didn't have a preference. I ordered a red sangria, it was ok, and I ordered a second one, but it wasn't good at all, I didn't drink it, the waitress didn't question why it was left untouched. Perhaps she didn't notice because once the entrees came out we didn't see her again until it was time for the check, that's right, she didn't check with us to see how things were. I can understand that she was busy, but other restaurants get busy, and we still have better service than we had here.Anyways, the food, my husband was disappointed with his chicken coq au vin. He was expecting a braised chicken, and he received a dry chicken. It wasn't a true chicken coq au vin, in his opinion. I had the wok fired atlantic salmon, it was good. The atmosphere was nice.I don't know that we would return to eat here.Dear lola72 ~We are very disheartened to hear that your experience was far from a positive memorable one; we certainly do apologize. We have reviewed your comments with all the appropriate teams. We understand that you don't think you will return, and that is understandable based on your experience - we certainly do work to provide an experience that is positive - in your case, it does seem that we missed the mark. If you should choose to give us anotehr opportunity in the future, please contact me directly - I would like to personally handle your reservation.Again, we do apologize for your experience.Sincerely;Ken SmithAssistant General Manager Submitted by:Kim

Our family of 5 figured, âhey, weâre in Sandwich, letâs get a sandwich for lunchâ! What a great call. We got a couple Italians and a Pastrami. Fantastic subs. I was disappointed we didnât get more, we shared subs. If youâre in the area, grab a sandwich from The Deli. You wonât regret it! Oh, and the lemon square and pickle were awesome. Separately of course.
