Find out what Sicilian restaurants to try in Pantelleria. This small, hilly island between Sicily and Tunisia is growing in popularity as a tourist destination (so if you’re like us, you’ll want to get there soon). Rent a moped to explore. One must-see: the island’s thermal pools. Beaches are rocky, but offer great snorkeling just offshore.

A hopping little place. Really fresh, high-quality food. Prices are reasonable, but no bargain. Loud and crowded. Make reservations or face a wait. I would definitely go back. Was very crowded and a bit noisy, but well worth it. Every dish we ate or saw coming out of the kitchen looked just right.Wish there was a neighborhood place like this closer to where I live, but no such luck.

The location is superb with panoramic views out to a beautiful blue sea. The food, which is mostly seafood is fresh and truly delicious! The wine to die for and demonstrates the best the island has to offer. Service was warm and friendly. Would definitely return should I find myself on this intriguing island in the future!

We had supper here, admittedly with no reservation and out of season, and were immediately made to feel welcome. The food is hearty Sicilian - rabbit stew is a favourite - and the terrace has a nice view of Scauri port. The Altamarea complex seems to be part-hotel, part-restaurant and part-Ibiza nightclub (in season) and we shared the restaurant with a large group of Italians on a wedding weekend. Smart and pricey if you like that sort of thing.

I usually come in this island , is my favorite island, But was my first time at the " i giardini.." awesome location elegant and cool but I have to tell you why I will never come back. 1 reason : we ordered the best white wine in the menu, Pietranera very good, and when the guy opened the bottle was warm . He said someting about The fridge but that wine was so expensive so I didn t care about excuses and was warm for 2 time because we ordered 2 bottles. 2 reason we waited a lot of time for The appetizers, ok I Can wait, but small portion and so expensive for The quality of the food. 3 reason my risotto and the pasta of the other guys was desgusting, again small portion and low quality. I don t know why the location is so cool and the stuff is not ready . Sweet in the end : We were the 10 table that did the complain, a lot of People left the restaurant with The empty stomach during an important night like "Ferragosto" . I hope that everything can change ( I m sicilian I know good italian food ) very expensive and desgusting. THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE . We are really sorry that you and your friends didn't enjoy your dinner at I Giardini and the last thing that we want is to convince someone to like our place at all costs. We also know what good food is and we can understand that you didn't like our cuisine. That's why after all your complaints, we decided to halve your final check. We always ask our guests if they enjoyed the meal and you are the first one with such a negative opinion about it - we are sure you will forgive us if we haven't changed menu yet. Regards, I Giardini dei Rodo

we had a very good lunch at al tramonto - half of it "worked" - ie was excellent local food with some flare, the other half was over engineered and missed the mark. great service, lovely ambience make it worth revisiting.

Every time I head down to Khamma, I always wondered why there was a long line outside of Panificio Terremoto. I assumed it must have had the best pastries in the world. Not wanting to wait in line for 30mins for a piece of bread, my friends and I decided to hit up the place in the morning. While there was no line outside the store, there was a line inside. Their assortment of pastry looks very pretty. After enduring what seemed like a bread shortage rush, we tasted the sweet pastries and bake goods we had bought. All in all, the pastries are tasty and delicious - soft and very tasty. But in retrospect, it's not something that is so different from other bakeries. The line might have added to the hysteria and the hype. Still I don't regret trying.

In a secluded spot in the beautiful island is this sea-view restaurant with kind proprietor and excellent dishes. The speciality is fish, but it is dependent on the catch. Someday there may be none, if the sea conditions weren't favourable. There are other excellent alternatives, and their pasta dishes are truly remarkable. So is the wine, hmmm...

Great restaurant in the city center of Pantelleria. Donât get discouraged by the appereance of the town of Pantelleria...head to the Dammuso and have a fantastic lunch. Franco the owner is very particular about fish and ingredients and he will never let you down. Pasta with capers, octopus salad are two of my favorites!
